We’re still here, in a beautiful quiet superior sea view room. The views, over to the snow capped mountains of Albania are stunning. It’s like looking out over a large lake. We can also see the cruise ships, in the port at Corfu Town. The hotel is absolutely spotlessly clean. I feel the sun bed mattresses could be cleaner, considering it’s the very start of the season. The food is fresh and plentiful. I’m mainly veggie and there’s loads of choice. Lunch is a nicer experience than dinner - it’s more calmer and serene. Dinner’s very busy, as is breakfast and in my opinion they need more staff. The staff are all very attentive, finding the Filipinos service being exemplary! It’s so nice to be brought drinks to our sun beds and empty glasses collected speedily. They all work tirelessly, in the heat. It’s great to have premium branded drinks (included) and there are a great choice of cocktails too. Rooms are cleaned daily, towels and bedding changed daily and good quality shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and moisturiser provided. A Nespresso machine is provided in the room, coffee pods are replenished daily, with a kettle, Dow Egbert coffee and breakfast tea available with drinks in a fridge which are all included and replenished. I don’t get what would prevent any member of the general public to walk in and use the facilities (& food and drink) of the hotel?! Because everyone’s all inclusive, you don’t wear wristbands. The lady who works with the animation team needs to be told not to shout! Does she not understand she’s already using a microphone?! Why shout? Extremely annoying. Also, everyone’s feet are blue from the paint in the top pool. It was mentioned to the life guard, who said she’d mentioned it to the hotel but absolutely nothing has been done about it. My lemon coloured flip flops are ruined! I know you don’t come away to watch TV, but in this day and age I’d expect to have more English channels and/or have Netflix or be able to stream. You can only get BBC or Sky News. A taxi into Corfu Town is €20 one way. I’d stay here again, if I was ever in the area, and would feel quite comfortable staying here as a solo traveller. We’ve not used the spa as we feel the pricing is extortionate. A shame as if prices were lowered I’m sure they’d have far more business.
