This hotel is really clean, and everyone who works here, from reception, cleaners, gardeners, chef, bar staff, team, everyone is so friendly and helpful. Big thank you to Aris (maintenance) who helped us first day, what a great guy! Also Anna (with the lovely red beads) who welcomed us and answered any questions ☺️ We always look for 4 things that make a good hotel in Greece: cleanliness, comfy mattress, good flushing toilet and good shower - this hotel ticked all boxes! The food is absolutely exceptional, we had at least two plate fulls of each meal, bang goes the diet 😅 The chefs go above and beyond to cater for everyone, something inventive and new each day and there's honestly nothing you can't get. They do an outside cooking area of an evening, and also a nice touch is the kids section offering some simpler things kids might like. We didn't feel the need to go outside to a taverna as it felt 'greek', everything home cooked tasty and absolutely delicious. Why people say it's not enough is beyond me, it was all amazing! I'd forgotten about the hotel tax on arrival, so keep in mind as it's classed as 5 stars it's the top end of €15 night. The hotel grounds are stunning, green palm trees everywhere and maintained very well. Little chickens out the front and super friendly little cats wandering about, everyone loved them as very sweet. We walked one day into Kos town, bit of a trek as took about an hour each way, but very flat and gets prettier the closer you get to the town. Kos town so pretty, should be called the town of the treet lined streets as so cute! Small enough to walk around in a couple of hours, old town bit really worth seeing. There's a mini market on site of this hotel, but if you go out front, turn right there's two more (cheaper prices) just up the road past the car rental places. The only improvement I'd say is maybe make the rooms a little more inviting with a bit of colour, or a picture or two on wall as it was large but a bit dated and sparse, very clean tho and great bed so we didn't mind. Also, there's pagodas all the way around the pool so lots of shade, you have to keep moving the sunbeds right out to catch the sun, so I would suggest making a few more ares free of shade if possible as a lot.of us do like to lie by pool and get some rays 😎 Thanks Kapriotis Maris for a really great stay and for increasing my weight by about 2 stone! 😂😋
