Hotel was in a good location. The room was clean and comfortable and having a swim up room was absolutely great. The best thing was the staff, they were all so friendly, happy to help with anything we needed and were great during breakfast and for getting cocktails. The breakfast itself was excellent, food was always fresh and very tasty. We ate dinner one night as well and it too was delicious. Only things I would change: The swim up rooms and balconies are right next to a public footpath so we didn't have any privacy. The air conditioning in the room wasn't great.

We had such a lovely stay at Kolymbia Bay Hotel and would highly recommend it. When we arrived late, we were warmly welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine, and the receptionist kindly offered to order us a takeaway – a thoughtful start to a great holiday. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, and it was honestly the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. There was lots of variety, everything was fresh and topped up regularly, and daily savoury and sweet specials kept it exciting. Me and my partner often said how we couldn’t wait for the breakfast (we aren’t normally even breakfast people) We also loved the pool bar food – generous portions, fair prices, and the chicken gyros were our favourite. The lady with dark hair I think Maria, who mostly served us, was so lovely and helpful. The pool area was peaceful with plenty of sunbeds available, even at 1pm. There was also a DJ from 1-4 which was a good addition, we enjoyed the music. In the evenings, we often walked 10–15 minutes to Eucalyptus Street for shops, bars, and restaurants. One night we dined at The Bay Restaurant – delicious food, reasonably priced, and the staff kindly gave us complimentary bread and olives. The hotel was spotless, relaxing, and in a perfect location for exploring Rhodes. It’s the only holiday destination we’ve both be agreed we’d 100% return to. Huge thanks to all the staff for making our stay so special!

A nice stay, however definitely not a 4 star resort. Kolymbia is geographically located well on the island. However for evenings in lindos and rhodes the location isn’t great as taxi’s are now charging 45 euros each way to get to these places and they are only around a 25 min drive. Kolymbia it’s self doesn’t have a lot going on. Outside from the boat hire on the beach which was well worth it. We had a swim up, the pool area itself is nice and peaceful, although dirty towels were left on our sun loungers. Our shower leaked on the first night we arrived - although the hotel did provide towels. We had a dirty cloth left in one of the bedside drawers on arrival. The breakfast is okay not amazing, quite average. Outside of this we ran out of shower gel one evening. We asked for more and there first response was we will have to wait for the cleaners in the morning. So I said surely not, otherwise we can’t shower and they eventually got someone to come and fill it up. The room service is good. And the bus stop is right outside the hotel however it doesn’t head into lindos past 2.30pm. So taxi is the only option- hence the prices. We opted for a late check out as we had an evening flight back. We were told there are two late check out times. One was 5pm which is 40 euros and the other was 8pm but we didn’t get onto the pricing for that. She said come back in the morning you leave and we can confirm. One the morning they told us it is now 40 euros till 3 pm with no explanation.

Clean and bright hotel with lovely pool and bar area. Fresh good selection at breakfast. The Bay restaurant quality food and wine. All the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and service was fabulous. We would love to stay when we return to Rhodes. Thank you 😊

There is good and bad about this hotel. The best part is the staff, you can see clearly by other review also that staff are extremely friendly, very accommodating. Special thank you to Alekos, who went above and beyond at breakfast every morning, made sure to speak to everyone and is an asset to the team. Also breakfast is amazing, by far one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. However, there are some pretty big issues that would make me want to stay elsewhere. First of all, and this may be due to easyJet who we booked through, we booked a sea view room which was completely ruined by extensive works on a brand new hotel being built right in front of this hotel. We were told about this 9 days before we were due to fly (!!!). It completely ruined the ‘sea view room’ that we paid for. We were told there would be noise between 10AM-3PM and be minimal, it definitely was not minimal, there was construction as early as 8AM! And I wear earplugs to sleep! If I had booked a swim up pool room I would’ve been so annoyed, how is it relaxing to have that literally right outside your room and pool. The swim up pools are also almost on level with the road, I also would not be happy about this as basically anyone on the road, in cars/trucks, can look onto you. There’s minimal privacy if any at all. The pool area is awful, it’s small, there’s barely any beds, so many beds are under the shade. It’s also linked to the restaurant which is open to the public. There is a gate which they open, so again anyone can see you, and ruins the privacy. You can also see how dirty the area is, lots of mould on the walls surrounding the pool. There is also a large hotel behind this one, that is very loud, they have loud music playing, karaoke etc late at night which is very disruptive. As seen on other reviews also, the bathroom is not very clean, also evidence of unfinished work above the door and under sink. The shower overflows so much because there’s no door, we were having to use so many towels to dry the floor. Mould evident, likely due to this. There was also a lot of ants coming into our room, despite not having food in the room, and not having doors open
