"The hotel is within a few minutes' walking distance from the centre of Ubud and its commercial, cultural and tourist areas. It is approximately a 90-minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport (the largest airport in Bali). This modern club resort is situated in the picturesque hillside of the Campuhan River Valley. Its 32 rooms are furnished in traditional Balinese style with individually controlled air-conditioning. They feature either double or king-size beds, balconies. All rooms include ensuit bathrooms. Facilities at the resort include lift access, room service and a car park. Peace, beauty & tranquility in Ubud

Fabulous stay at Komaneka at Bisma, a beautiful local run resort. Gorgeous & quiet location away from the crazy busy that is Ubud these days but still close enough to the action if you want to step out. Friendly & very helpful service, delicious food (huge breakfast selection included), huge & comfortable rooms with peaceful views, relaxing pool and the most amazing day spa location & treatments. Also loved the daily morning yoga. Highly recommended- we’d happily stay again - 5 stars for everything.

Everything was perfect, Komaneka at Bisma is idyllically situated yet centrally within walking distance of shops, restaurants and hiking trails between the rice fields. The terrace of the spacious beautifully decorated private suite has a beautiful view of rice fields with tropical vegetation and an infinity pool: in short, a big WOW FACTOR. The staff was super friendly and everyone addresses you by your first name and that felt super good. Special thanks to Feby, my check-in hostess who was always ready to make my stay as pleasant as possible. She even arranged for me that every morning at 6 am a staff member took me to the starting point of a beautiful nature walk at sunrise. When I was back around 9 am, I could enjoy a delicious healthy a la carte breakfast with a view of the garden and pool.

Both romantic and good for families!

Beautiful resort and wonderful, kind service. We are a family of 4 with two children ages 6 and 9. We got the private family villa with pool. The villa was more than enough space! It was two stories with the main bedroom and grand bathroom upstairs. Downstairs had two twin beds and a bathroom and living room. The private pool was nice to dip in after a hot and humid day but is colder than the main pool. The main resort pool is heated and was great for kids. We love the nature walk near the river, the yoga lessons, the breakfast, and the wonderful and thoughtful hotel service. Highly recommend the spa treatments which are by the river.

Komeneka Bisma in Ubud Bali has been a 2nd home to me… traveling over the last 5 years with family and friends … touring and enjoying the sights around Ubud and the north eastern portions of Bali…! Nestled in among the rain forest and rice padi terraces… the terrain is tranquil and peaceful ..if relaxation is what you are after…although stone throw from the hustle and bustle of the city center where activities abound from shopping … touring historic palaces to night life! The staff at Komaneka Bisma in Ubud are outstanding ..taking your needs personally… they are caring and go the extra step to ensure you are comfortable at all … Where the meals are simply delicious and the chef goes out of his way to make you a SPECIAL meal if you request it!
