Very nice hotel, beach front, excellent views

Brilliant beach front location Outstanding views across the bay of Corfu town and mainland Greece Resort as a whole was excellent, very clean We had a beach view bungalow which was stunning Good atmosphere around the resort with a real mix of couples, families and older groups Staff couldn’t do enough for you, big shoutout to cristianos in the main restaurant, very attentive and great sense of humour Entertainment on every evening in the hotel Did have a few ants knocking about the bathroom from time to time but wasn’t a big issue for us Hotel was kind enough to give us a free upgrade as it was our honeymoon and checked in as soon as we got to the hotel There is a small shop on site and another convenience store about a half mile down the road Free tennis and gym on site Free bus into Corfu town from the hotel also

Great Band on Friday Night

When we went to the evening entertainment on our first night, we were expecting a second-rate ‘one-man band’ or a singer from the entertainment team who couldn’t hit the right notes – as is, sadly, often the case in many family hotels. But we couldn’t have been more wrong! On stage was a young, local nine-piece band that wowed the crowd with cover versions ranging from ABBA to Taylor Swift. They got the guests dancing and laughing, creating a relaxed, cheerful atmosphere from the very first song right through to the last. There was lively dancing in front of the stage. The three female singers harmonised perfectly and, with their positive energy and spirit, were a real visual treat too. When, during a Justin Timberlake song, even the drummer took the microphone and the trombonist played a rousing solo during ‘I Like to Move It’, I was completely won over. As the band told us, they perform every Friday evening during the season. Thank you very much for this wonderful first evening at the Kontokali Bay Resort & Spa – just 15 minutes from Corfu Town. An excellent hotel with excellent hospitality

An excellent hotel with lovely facilities and staff including a large swimming pool, nice beach and an excellent kid’s club. The food in the main restaurant was excellent and varied every night. Kostas Doukas, the Maître D’Hotel there, was outstanding. He was very attentive and gave us excellent hospitality. He also worked very hard to look after all the other guests. Thank you Kostas and the other hotel staff for your excellent hospitality!

A wonderfull hotel. My parents are elderly and I messaged the hotel the day before we arrived asking for an easily accessible room for them. They were given a very nice room , with lovely view and mine was just a few rooms away. The lovely lady who cleaned our rooms was super, she worked so hard , but always had a smile and a kind word. The beach and pool were fantastic so clean , no rush for loungers , and good service in these areas. The hotel provided snacks of chocolate and sesame snaps by the front lobby which was lovely( especially for my 12 yr old daughter! ) The wine in our rooms was a lovely touch , as was the water bottled which was replaced daily. The restaurants were good. Breakfast downstairs was lovely, so relaxing and offering mainly Greek produce, whilst the restaurant upstairs had a huge selection of breakfast goodies, exceptional. Natalie’s restaurant next door was lovely too, the Octopus was fantastic and the staff were so sweet. We took the bus in to Corfu Town which all worked very well. Nice to see all the shops in Corfu town selling mainly Greek produce. All in all an extremely relaxing holiday , my parents who are 87 and 82 came away different people! Many thanks

Beautiful hotel

We had another fantastic stay at beautiful Kontokali Bay Resort. The staff are all always so warm and welcoming, the rooms and facilities including the pool are clean and well maintained and the food is varied and of a high quality. We enjoyed eating at both the main restaurant and the beach terrace.
