I am currently writing this review from my room at the KoruMar Ephesus Beach and Spa resort. Before arriving I was looking for up-to-date prices for various things in and around the hotel but the prices seemed somewhat quiet far off to my experience so figured I would compile this review with current live prices. The Hotel is excellent. Everyone from the reception staff to the room cleaners are very polite, always smiling and helpful. Although the room staff don't speak English, they are always well mannered and smiley. We are on a package holiday with Jet2 and the whole thing has been excellent so far. Very easy to navigate from Stansted airport to the hotel through their series of reps pointing us in the right direction all the way. The Jet2 Excursion rep in the hotel (Ahmet) is a super friendly and lovely guy. We have booked 2 trips through him. Tour 1: Ephesus full day guided tour (full days are only available Sundays, during the other days are half day tours) This includes the House of the Virgin Mary and is priced at £89 per person. This is adult price. Children are cheaper and ages 1 to 6 are free of charge. Tour 2: is a day of shopping and exploration of the city of Izmir. This took our interest as there are souk like markets and the city is originally an Ottoman city so is steeped in history. This is priced at £59 per person, adult price. Children are cheaper and again ages 1 to 6 are free of charge. The room we have is the Swim Up. Having cone here I would always pick this room from now on as the balcony and pool is really worth the extra money. We are room 3031 and all the rooms along pur row face towards the sea. These rooms get sun all day in the balcony. The rooms arpund the sides of the block I've noticed barely get any sun all day on their balcony so I would opt for a room along this row where ever possible. We have booked a beach Cabana for a couple of days. The prices people have mentioned on here for these are way off.. I read that they are 25-30 euros a day. This is not true. We have secured the 2024 price as the 2025 prices have not been released yet and the options are as follows. Cabana Package 1 is 75 euros per day. Cabana Package 2 is 115 euros per day. The full list of what's included in these packages can be obtained by emailing the hotel. Room service is available and is not included in the all inclusive. I have included the full room service menu in the images for your perusal. The Spa has a Gym, Sauna and Steam Room that are all included free of charge. The Spa also offers massage and beauty services and their price list is included in the images. The all inclusive at this hotel is very good. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all very well catered for in the buffet restaurant. There is plenty of space in the dining hall for everyone and the food is plentiful and replenished constantly up until the service has finished. The food is very tasty and so much choice. The restaurant opening times are as follows. Breakfast Service: 07:00 - 10:00 Late Breakfast: 10:00 - 11:00 Lunch: 12:30 - 14:00 Dinner: 19:00 - 21:30 There are a few Ala Carte Restaurants which can be booked. In the all inclusive you can include 1 free meal per week. We are here for 10 nights which technically covers 2 weeks although we are still only entitled to the 1 free meal there. We was told however that we could book more at a cost, which I am led to believe is merely a service charge. Each night offers a different meal cuisine type. Saturday was fish, Monday is Turkish, there is also a European night option. Some of the above options are repeated on different nights. The hotel itself does not have an ATM but there are loads 4 hotels along at the Aquasplash hotel, it's a 20 minute walk along a path along the main road or a 5 euro cab ride. The hotel offers plenty of drink choices. The local beer on tap is Efes which is a lovely beer, very fortunate to have that on tap includes. There are also house wines and all types of spirits available. More expensive drink choices such as nice whiskies and spirits are an extra cost but really are not needed. There is a patisserie that opens from about 12:00 and closes around 17:00. This has loads of fresh cakes, tea, coffee, Turkish tea and Turkish coffee, hot chocolate etc There is a snack bar at the far end of the pools near the beach wixh offers a buffet style meal option throughout the day. This is closed by about 16:00. The snack bar, we have only tried today but as an example had a salad bar then hot options included a build your own burger section, Turkish pasta and pasta sauce, chips, fish, meatballs and rice. There are a few shops within the hotel that sell shoes, sweets, inflatables and swim goggles etc. The Spa offers an indoor heated pool that has a section that goes outside. This is very handy fpr the cooler months as the outdoor pools are not heated and currently the water is freezing in them which renders them pretty much useless unless ypur good with ice cold water. The kids pool with the kids waterside etc is great and a shallow depth. The larger water slides like the big tube slides are for people 1.20m and over. These I rewsd were all closed due to being out of season but when we got here all of the slides etc are running which is great. As we are only on pur second day here that's about as much info as I can write about but overall the experience is very good so far.
