Beautiful family time at Kouros

The place and the staff are excellent. Really enjoyed our family time. It's a shame that the place is being renewed and transformed into an adults-only hotel.

Agree with other reviews on star rating. It’s defo not a 5. So saying, the tired rooms, they were cleaned very well. Clean bedding every other day and towels. But the staff make this hotel. They are just all brilliant. The hotel is bricks and mortar, the staff make it! We had a wonderful time. Special thanks to George and Theo in the bar. Billy collecting and keeping every table clean. That all work so hard. The housekeeper very friendly. The restaurant staff, especially Roy. As it was end of season they were allowed to join in with us at the dj night, and it was the best experience. The food, breakfast was the worst meal, it was ok , but very strange to swerve green beans, sprouts, carrots etc. the eggs, beans and bread etc was fine. Quite a good choice every day for evening meal, desserts ver6 very good. The hotel is having a massive refurb now, so issues with rooms should be sorted. One criticism, the last day , the beach bar and pool bar was closed. We were there two weeks , but some people only went for a few days , so that was a little unfair, I understand the hotel was closing the next day but even so?… The location is beautiful. Fab sunsets! But if you like a lot of of life around, this is not for you. Mastichiari is two mile away. We walked it a couple of times . Lovely little village. There is a taverna about 10 mins walk away, which serves good food and drinks. “ dolphin bay” All in all this was a fantastic holiday, , it’s what you make it. The staff were the BEST!

Great hotel. Very good food, plenty to choose from. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are delicious, with local produce, fruits, vegetables, and cheeses. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. I recommend the bar and the bartender, Theona. Every employee is kind and friendly. I highly recommend it.

To say we were disappointed is an under statement! 5 star it is not! There were a lot of weeds by the pool, toilets out of order and leaking everywhere. I do not expect a 5 star hotel to have manky shower curtains! The room was adequate but only cleaned every other day and not to a good standard. Considering you cannot flush toilet paper, the bin was changed every other day! The staff are friendly but certain bar staff need to get off their phones and acknowledge customers at the bar. We won't be visiting again!

This hotel is definitely not 5 star, at a push it’s a 3 star at best.The food is basic and the same everyday, there is no service whatsoever you have to get everything yourself. The bar staff in particular are very rude. There are not enough sun beds for the hotels capacity, they don’t give you bottled water you have to go to the shop across the road. The hotel itself is in need of repair and bringing up to date. Also all inclusive finishes at 11pm. They want to put soiled toilet paper in the bins rather than flush away but they only empty the bins in your room every other day. I would not recommend this hotel at all.
