We have just returned from 2 weeks at this hotel all inclusive as a family of 3 with a teenager. We arrived very late and after a swift check in found our room to be very clean with bottles of water and a few cans of pop in the fridge which was great to find. Room: 2 free bottles of water provided each day into the fridge so no need for us to buy more during our stay. The room was cleaned every day- towels changed when left in bath and you can request bedding change if you leave the card next the bed on the beds- this is to save unecessary washing and better for the environment. Air con worked really efficiently which was a relief given the heat outside. Twice during our stay , not all the towels were replaced but within about 10 mins of letting reception know this was rectified- so not an issue for us at all. Food: No idea why people have complained about lack of food choice- ample choice (breakfast- cereals, fruit, breads, cold meats, cheese, yogurt, nuts, hot choices - omelette, eggs, bacon various sausages, mushrooms , croque monsieur etc etc) and plenty of options for dinner (meat dishes, fish, pasta, salad and delicious desserts) . Something for everyone. We ate in the pool bar (delicious gyros, pizza ,Greek salad and other bits ) each lunch time rather then going into the main restaurant . Vibe: we found it a very relaxed hotel. Some queues at busy dinner times but staff working hard to get everyone in so never waited more than about 5 mins Sunbeds: still available at both pools until around 0930am. No dreaded sun bed races at silly o clock! Sun beds very comfortable. We found the upper pool tiles quite slippery unless you had decent footwear. Lower pool much less so. All the staff were friendly and happy to chat- specially Tea and Konstantinos in the lower pool bar and George in the all day bar . All day bar insists on t shirts being worn but the dress code is relaxed across the whole hotel. Drinks: Drink choices were excellent- the Aperol spritz a particular favourite! Amazing views from the hotel and terraces. Beach: just a minutes walk from lower pool , accessed down some steps. Stony but great for snorkelling. Pools: great temperature and never too busy despite children and inflatables and toilets kept really clean and facilities for showering as we had a late flight were really good (gym/indoor pool level) Entertainment: only evening entertainment (apart from aqua aerobics) which is a weekly schedule so repetitive after 2 weeks but not an issue for us as we didn’t watch every evening. Violinist and singer were really enjoyable to watch and sing/dance along to! Pool tables - 2 inside and one outside which we used most days. There are courts for tennis but no organised activities. Luckily our teenager wasn’t too bothered by this. The QR code to book the city bus into old town was brilliant and seamless. Took about 15 mins with one pick up at another hotel along the way. 4 euro per person each way. On site shop really handy for gifts. We had a really great 2 weeks- our holidays are about relaxing , eating and enjoying a few drinks and this is exactly what we got so we would recommend this hotel.
