I got robbed in my room

I went to Zamna and then, while I was away, someone with the keys got into my room and stole my Airpods. I was gone from 12:00 am to 4:00 am. Weirdly, my Airpods got disconnected from my iCloud at 1 am and where last located at Tulumena. The guy from the entrance ask me my room number as I left for the festival and I asked him how to get there.. he knew I was going to be away for a long time. It's really sad that this place wasn't secure and that I got robbed. I wouldn't recommend this place. It it happened to me, it could happens to anyone

Nice hotel but wouldn’t stay again as single traveller

I stayed on my own. Didn’t feel massively safe. The lights in the corridors are on a timer and go off too soon. There is no lock on the door leading between the outside bathroom and the bedroom. Comfy bed. Limited storage. Nice breakfasts in restaurant.

Best boutique hotel in tulum

A great boutique hotel! It was air-conditioned (which is rare in Tulum), and we were given handmade soap at the front. La Tulumeña has bike (motor, electric, and bicycles) rentals and a yummy restaurant. Before going to dinner, we would sit on the porch in the hammock and order drinks from the restaurant. The drinks were delicious and a good price. The best part of our stay was meeting JJ! JJ gives the absolute best service and has great energy!

No free breakfast here, but the breakfast options at the restaurant taste great. For some reason trip advisor shows free breakfast for this location. Room was small but clean, no issues with the AC. Bathroom doors are saloon style and drove us nuts, nitpicky but it was so frustrating.. We booked this place to finish our trip after a resort stay at playa del carmen, and it was a good stay for the buck.

The room was clean and well maintained. It fit the need of a place to sleep. I would have scored it a 5 if it had a mini fridge. They did provide a container of water that was filled daily, but it was always room temperature. The front desk attendants were always very polite and helpful.

We are surrounded by a great variety of bars and restaurants. Our philosophy and design are based on a concept that exalts and respects nature but where you can enjoy it too. We have private rooms with terrace or balcony and outdoors shower.
