LA Vintage Resort by Poppa Palace

Worst resort I have ever stayed in. Firstly they didn't say it was a halal kitchen. So there was no bacon or ham for breakfast. The Fried eggs were cold as they cook them and put them in a Bain Marie which was not turned on. Not much variety at all for Western people . There was a rat that ran across the dinning area and a big cockroach which one of the staff killed and then just left it on the floor. Birds would fly in everyday and peck at the bread and cakes which was disgusting. Also bees were all over the condiments very Unhygienic. The rooms all need an upgrade as there was a lot of mould in them. The cleaning staff were great. Also they need shower curtains to stop the water going all over the bathroom. TV in rooms is very limited for English speaking people. No movie channels or pay TV. The staff were unfriendly and didn't speak English very well at all and really didn't want to help in anyway. Their was one great staff member Sky. They seem to have better rooms but we were never offered to change rooms. I spoke to some of the other guests and they said the same things.

The worst experience in thailand the claimed us as theives and the receptionist miss pong gave us the worst amd was claiming that we are thieves and when we went to the room they took all the towels and put in the laundry and we were not able to check the room and now tgey are asking us to pay 950 thb (bath). Please suggest to everyone not to go for la vintage resort. We stayed in thailand for 1 week 1 day in phuket 2 days in bangkok but we didnt face any issues like this. But here in la vintage resort tgey were rude and the manger was shouting at us to pay and leave or they will put us in jail.

Good value for money and location allows walking to everything.Clean hotel with all staff very friendly. Wifi is good but had to constantly logon and I wish that soft serve ice cream machine was repaired and working.

Overall is okay. But the air conditioner in our room is not cold, i think might be broken. Room is clean, tidy and good place to sleep
