Charming but sexy

The hotel sent us a SUV and had cold coronas for us to enjoy. Was immediately greeted by the staff. The hotel is a mix between charming and sexy. It’s whimsical but with a secluded vibe. It’s quiet. When kids aren’t around. Our room was rustic but with a sexy vibe. This place is hard to describe, but I don’t mean that in a bad way it just has this like child like free spirited, unique, sexy vibe. We booked everything through the hotel. From cars to scooters to asking their opinion on every restaurant etc. The restaurant on property was awesome. The only downside was a weak Coffee. There was even a market with vendors selling goods etc in the restaurant area which was so cool. Special shot outs to Marco, Esteban and Carlos for exceptional service!

Luxury family stay

We stayed here for 1 night only and it was fantastic. Ricardo checked us in he was really friendly and professional. We used the beach cabanas and our waiter Aldaberto (hope I have correct spelling) was attentive but not overbearing. This is a gorgeous family friendly hotel, with a cute little play park by the bar. The rooftop pool with swim up bar is perfect and water shallow enough for kids to play. We had lunch which was delicious. The room was spacious, absolutely huge, double shower, nice amenities. There is no TV in the room but that was fine for us. Turn down service was lovely we were left some hot flavoured water and cookies. We were very impressed with La Zebra and if anyone is looking for a quiet, luxury, family (not party vibe hotel!) this is a great spot in Tulum.

Amazing experience at La Zebra

We had a fantastic stay at La Zebra. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our visit — they really made us feel taken care of. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches that added to the experience. We also loved the restaurant — every meal we had was fresh and delicious, and the setting right by the beach couldn’t be better. I booked a massage at the spa and had an incredible session with Victoria — one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The entire stay was the perfect mix of rest, relaxation, and romance. We would absolutely return and highly recommend La Zebra to anyone visiting Tulum. The only downside, we visited in May, and there was quite of bit of seaweed on the beach.

Exceptional!

La Zebra is just exceptional! Our family have fallen in love with this place! Every aspect from booking to departure was just so easy. But as other reviews articulate, the staff are beautiful! David welcomed us so warmly at front desk, and was always there; a friendly face, transfer and taxi help, housekeeping, Spanish lessons (😂), and just delightful! And Felipe at the restaurant made us feel like we were always at home with family - from the moment he said ‘Hola, my name is Felipe,’ we were at ease. The rooms are sensational! The fittings are beautiful and housekeeping staff are so kind and attentive - they don’t miss a beat! Our evening delivery of tea and a treat was such a gorgeous touch. The location was fabulous for us - as a family, in a quiet area of the hotel zone but plenty of life for walks to ice cream if needed, or to do a little walk of the ‘main drag’. We had no issues with little outings to downtownTulum or bigger ones to Chichen Itza and Cenotes etc. We already miss it! A huge thank you to everyone at La Zebra - we hope to come back (all the way from Australia!) for sure! 🙏❤️
