Nice hotel, but definitely not 5*. The staff were friendly when we arrived, directed us where to go for food before they closed, then arranged a buggy to take us to our room. I went with my mum so we had asked for single beds rather than a double, this was all in place when we arrived at our room. The room was ok, very small, balcony and as a nice size as was the bathroom. It was all very dated though, the wicker chairs on the balcony had big dips in them, cushions were faded as was the table. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever (tried) to sleep in, they were so hard I felt sore and bruised in the morning. We spike to reception who put 2 duvets under the sheets which helped a little. There were also holes in the sheets, and the towels were threadbare. The shower was amazing though, plenty of hot water available any time we used it. The pool areas were clean, although the sunbeds had seen better days, most were sagging so you sat on the bars under the lounger which was not comfortable at all. We were rarely able to get a sunbed down there beach area, but was nice in later afternoon as there was always a breeze. Camlik was a lovely spot for lunch, food cooked fresh and always delicious. The restaurant had plenty of choice for food which was always hot, believe me I’m very fussy and I always found plenty to eat. The waiting staff cleared tables once it was clear you had finished, but they were not wiped between people sitting there so often you had to clean it yourself with serviettes. Very rarely wet wipes were given out, I think this was an “if your face fits” situation, we were given one once! I was surprised that the vast majority of drinks were in paper cups, and was very much help yourself. La Brise spa was amazing, the staff there were friendly and helpful, Mesut goes around looking for customers, but special mention goes to Deniz who is the supervisor. Such a lovely man who stood and gave mum and I a quick neck and shoulder massage while we waited for our transfer home. Would highly recommend visiting the spa at the hotel, spotlessly clean and the ladies who gave the Turkish baths and massages were amazing at their jobs. We had a lovely time, (the scenery is absolutely stunning ) but ultimately we would not go back again.
