Ladera Resort

The Ladera is pure magic! We cannot say enough wonderful things about this beautiful property and the staff that made us feel so welcome and special during our week there. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and they went above and beyond to help us celebrate. A special thanks to Mariska, who served us for breakfast each day and many of our days by the pool. Lorne was also fantastic in her service at our meals! Rohan was so kind and helpful with getting us to and from our room. We had multiple amazing dinners at Dasheen, a beautiful setting, excellent service, and delicious food. Gardner Ray keeps the property lush with so many interested and beautiful plants and flowers. The wood carvings on property are so intricate and beautiful, all created by one of the artisans on staff. Our time in the spa was absolutely gorgeous, relaxing and special. Highly recommend the couples massage package that included lunch at the spa cafe. The spa amenities are fantastic and whole experience was perfect. We loved our room, our plunge pool was beautiful and well maintained, and the views are out of this world. The Ladera staff always called us by name, were so helpful in making reservations, recommendations for activities, and making sure we had everything we needed. They were responsive, helpful, and the epitome of hospitality. I would recommend the Ladera to anyone who is going to St. Lucia. We hope to come back some day, it was truly a trip that will never be forgotten.

Ladera resort is a couples paradise! My fiancé and I spent our honeymoon at Ladera and had an amazing experience. Carol with reception was so helpful with excursion planning and making the most out of our stay. Leah at Dasheene restaurant saved my dress at dinner our first night at the resort, she’s amazing! And we have to give a shoutout to our favourites, Brett and Vincia, who were so welcoming and made our stay so fun! The views, the staff, and the island of St. Lucia exceeded our expectations! Can’t wait to come back again - from room P!

The view was absolutely worth the price however I had to get medication upon my return due to the extreme bug bites. The housekeeping staff continued to put cookies and sweet treats in our suite including on the bed which I believe led to the bug issue. I have bites all over my face, arms, feet, legs and back. It’s been extremely itchy and painful for the last 6 days. I’ve experienced bug bites in the Caribbean but never to this degree at any other place. Service was great! They tried to be accommodating such as when our room wasn’t ready on time at check-in. I would say that the cab prices seem to vary going to the same area - one night 40, one night 20. They also seem To push you to eat at their restaurant. I understand but at the same time It’s not an all inclusive resort so not sure why the push. Breakfast was consistently good at the resort. But I did get sick after eating the Caesar salad. The dressing tasted off to me like heavy on the mayonnaise. Massage was wonderful!

Upon my arrival at the resort my bf and I were welcomed by Darnel(our butler) who has delivered excellent service throughout our two nights stay..we were taken to the luxury suite which was beautiful with stunning views..clean,open air and a well stocked fridge to keep you going we had no issues with any insects for the bed was fully covered with a mosquito net ..our butler (theo) at nights ensured that we tried everything there is to entertain us at nights..staff are friendly and ensure that you're comfortable throughout dining..food was great and tasty with aoft melody atmosphere..lovely pools,game room and hot tubs to keep you occupied at all times.. we did the trail which was nothing of what we expected ..the views are breath taking ,and although I am from st.lucia I've never seen such magnificent views...after the trail we found ourself in the spa..Indeed a spa the best I have ever seen ..the place is like a dream..our weekend was well spent and wouldnt trade it for any other..truly a remarkable stay...excellent service from everyone and one last tip be sure to visit the rum bar if you are looking for an extra kick before bed😉 thank you all for making this weekend one of the best Love Vernice and Nigel

Ladera simply exceeded any expectations for our 25th anniversary trip. The peace and quiet was exceptional. The teammates that run the place take such great care of all the details. Special thanks to Ray for making our day every time we saw him and to Alvin for the treehouse chat!
