I stayed at Landmark Hotel Baniyas Square from 5 March to 11 March 2026, and unfortunately I had a very stressful and unacceptable experience. Before arriving at the hotel, I paid three nights in advance through my travel agent. When I checked in on 5 March, I presented my paid booking voucher and everything seemed fine. However, on the morning of the third day of my stay, one of the customer service representatives, Tanu, called my room and asked me to come to the reception. When I arrived, she was very angry, nervous, and disrespectful. She started yelling at me and demanding that I pay again for the three nights, claiming that the hotel had not received the payment from my travel agent. Even though I showed proof that I had already paid, they kept me waiting at the reception for about six hours and insisted that I must pay again. I refused to pay twice for the same room and informed them that I would contact the Dubai Police if the issue was not resolved. After several hours, they finally checked their system again and admitted that the payment had already been received. Only then did they apologize. This situation caused serious stress and embarrassment, and no guest should be treated this way. ⚠️ My advice to future travelers: Be very careful about paying in advance for this hotel through agents or online platforms. Make sure everything is clearly confirmed to avoid being asked to pay twice.
