A good hotel in a good location

Overall a nice hotel in an excellent location. Its a modern bright spacious hotel close to the main bus station, a fine supermarket directly across from the bus station, a small 24/7 shop directly behind the hotel less than a ten minute walk from the main square, where you will pass a lovely corner bar with excellent live music. There is a large hotel lobby well serviced by two lifts. There is also a large bar to the right of the lobby. There two lovely rooftop pools with a bar facility and a 360 degree view of the town. The bedrooms are modern with a comfortable bed, One of the best air conditioning controls that I have come across in a hotel. One switch for on and off and two buttons to set the temp. The bathroom is lovely with an excellent shower but watch for water escaping as it is easy to flood the bathroom floor. There is a safe in the room. You have a tea/ coffee making facility, spacious modern wardrobe with drawers. There are no wardrobe doors which did not present a problem. You have a minibar fridge which is great for keeping your own drinks cold. There ia a nice balcony with a small table and two chairs. A decent size flatscreen TV with a few English channels. Housekeeping staff are excellent and always greet you with a smile as are the staff at the reception who were at all times very helpful. The dining area is large, modern, and functionable. Breakfast is fine. A decent selection and foods generally replenished without too much waiting. A suggestion would be to provide fried potatoes as i think that it would be a welcome addition to the breakfast selection. Dinner in the evening was fine without being spectacular but being a buffet you could top up again as required. There is a small microwave to the right of the toasters to heat the food as the food may not be hot enough for some peoples taste but the dinner plates are always hot which was very welcome. Again top marks to the restaurant staff who were lovely and obliging but my only complaint was that sometimes it could be frustrating trying to find one of the catering staff behind the buffet counters as often for whatever reason were nowhere to be found when wanted for a number of minutes. Overall a nice stay in a good hotel with very accommodating staff. The location was excellent and I would have no problem staying in this hotel again.

A super hotel, worth a visit!

A super hotel, big and spacious rooms, stunning grounds, great views. The food was all freshly cooked, breakfast was the best for us, so much choice, lunches and evening dining was also very good but as with many all inclusive hotels it was varied but rotated. The grounds were clean and tidy and the hotel was spacious. The snack bar for lunches and drinks was always well stocked. The staff were pleasant and helpful and we took advantage of the hotel shuttle bus down to the main town.

Stunning Views and Excellent Service

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The views are absolutely breathtaking—you can see both the mountains and the ocean, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing everything needed for a relaxing stay. Snacks and drinks were very good, and I want to especially highlight the service. Ayoze, one of the waiters, was fantastic—his friendly and welcoming attitude really stood out and made our experience even better. The only downside was the dinner. There were a few hot meal options, and the selection felt quite repetitive. It would be great to see a bit more variety in the future. Overall, a beautiful hotel with great staff and views—just a bit of room for improvement in the dining experience.

The 4 star Hotel Las Águilas Tenerife, Affiliated by Meliá is located at the top of a mountain, surrounded by gardens of 10,000 sqm, with a spectacular view over Puerto de la Cruz and the Orotava Valley. All of the suites dispose of one bedroom, one separate living room, a bathroom with Jacuzzi or shower and a spacious balcony or terrace with wonderful views over the sea or towards the mountain Teide.
