Unique, yummy spot for a meal

We only ate at the restaurant. The food was great, the setting was so cool and unique, and the service was outstanding. Our teens loved it! My kids wanted something more filling after days of fish and they all got burgers and loved them. The only issue (which is true everywhere in Tulum) is how hot it was. But I’m so happy we ate here!

Layla is the girl to go to!

This was my first solo trip and I couldn’t have picked a better city and hotel to come to! Layla was hands down 10/10 and I HIGHLY recommend! Even before I arrived, they were keeping up with me on WhatsApp and wishing safe travels. During my stay, they would periodically message me on WhatsApp to see if my accommodations were ok and if I was doing fine. The rooms are just like the pictures: cute, boho, chic and relaxing; very IG worthy! The staff is friendly and helpful. One staff member, Michelle, was super helpful in recommending spots for dinner that were literally a 3 minute walk and sooo good! The hotel is really close to downtown and I took walks to shops and restaurants with ease. There’s even a little corner store across the street that I bought bottled waters and a few snacks from. The hotel is clean, comfortable and made me feel safe as a woman traveling solo. I hands down recommend Layla for anyone visiting Tulum! It's a good hotel.

The hotel is small and uniquely "decorated" if you will. Most of the hotel is in concrete, white and is very rustic. That's what gives it the extra charm. However, at a closer look, the hotel does need updates, fresh coat of paint as well. The hotel is very clean. The bed were comfortable. The food on the roof top is very good (be careful, they add a hefty tip to the bill- and watch the currency conversions!). The service was very good. Would recommend the hotel, but it's not five stars. Pool was nice. Location is great!
