Didn’t get the room we asked for, double bed for 18year old son and 16 year old daughter. Had asked a few times. Not great when checking in at midnight. Said they didn’t have twins and they couldn’t make it happen. Did get a bit mad, daughter slept on a rock hard ‘sofa bed’ for a night. Eventually worked it out, Molly at reception didn’t believe we’d asked for these beds. Double room was supposed to have a balcony but was completely enclosed and over all the noisy equipment, had asked for a quiet room as well. Sent her the messages never heard from her. Other staff were great, food was great. Pool was quite noisy. Great location. Can’t guarantee the correct beds and hotel rooms not great to sleep in, so I wouldn’t go back.

Home away from home.

We stay here on a regular basis, and that’s because it’s always like coming home. From the guards with their smiling faces. The cleaners who always leave our room spotless. The amazing staff that greet us in the morning for breakfast with their smiles and happy attitude that light up the room. We could mention many staff names but we would miss someone out, there is too many to mention. The gardens are a delight to walk through and bring a true sense of a Balinese retreat. The location which is ideal - on the beach and close to restaurants is another plus. The only negative this time around - we had daily issues with the Television, which the staff tried to rectify on a regular basis but I believe this was due to an upgrade, with the server. Thank you once again Legion beach staff for a great holiday.🙏

Great Hotel but checking in and "upgrades" are a problem.

We arrived at the hotel. We had 3 rooms booked. Granted we were early. We were advised that we'd need to wait about an hour to get one of the rooms and we should sit in the waiting room and they would call us. Two hours later we enquired and were greeted with "Oh yes your room is ready"!!! Why did they not call us??? Why did they wait to be asked - they knew where we were - they had directed us to the waiting room. We then learned we were fortunate in being given a room "upgrade"!! We were given a two bed unit when we had booked a three bed unit. But we could have an additional bed at a cost of USD300 for the three rooms!! Trying to tell them we didn't want the upgrade and didn't want a solution that cost USD300 proved really difficult. Trying to speak to the manager was difficult. It's now 3 hours since we arrived and we're still waiting. It's a lovely resort. Fantastic location. Well maintained and spotlessly clean. The security and house keeping staff are amazing. Reception staff need training!
