Everything we needed for a relaxing family break

Just sat at the airport after a wonderful 10 day stay here. As the title suggests, everything was perfect from start to finish - what made it so perfect is every single member of staff. From housekeeping, restaurant staff, grooms, management, bar staff - all were wonderful and nothing was ever too much trouble. A very special shout out to Thalia - if you need anything at all, she’s your person! Super efficient, always smiling and at your total disposal for any request; big or small. We are a family of four (2 children aged 10/12) and it’s a great resort for relaxation, but also offers water sports if required. We hired a car for a couple of days and a self-drive boat for a day (arranged by Thalia!), both I’d totally recommend to see more of this Island. Food in the hotel was exceptional, we were spoilt for choice and never had any issue with quality or quantity. In short, we’d recommend this hotel in a heartbeat - a real find!

We are on our 6th day of 8 at Domes Aulus Lindos. As I write, it's 31 July 2026 (I know some older reviews can pop up bear the top!). We arrived with a little trepidation given some of the negative trip advisor reviews but our experience could not have been more different. Are there some teething problems and the odd thing that could be slicker? Sure, but these really don't matter when you factor all that you get from a stay here. Also, having booked through Voyage Pri e we feel we are getting excellent value for money. Thanks to the wonderful Thaleia and Siiri for making our experience so special (more on that later). Rooms - We have a pavilion suite with pool. The outside area is truly beautiful and the pool is large and clean. The two bedrooms are separate and the beds are comfy with lovely linen and amenities. Bags of space and yes, it's not a brand new room so there will be bits and pieces that need a lick of paint/updating (especially if comparing to new 5 stars at a different price point)- but it's nothing you'll notice unless you are looking for it. Overall, a wonderful slice of calm... Until the kids get in the pool! Pool and Bars- The pool area is beautiful. It's on 3 levels (toddlers then kids then main pool). And the main pool has different depths as you go round. You do need to get up early ish to get some of the better positioned loungers but 7/730 is more than enough. The pool bar is well stocked (sol, budvar, Greek beer, amstel etc) and spirits are branded (Gordon's, Jim Beam, Jose Cuervo etc). They also do a variety of cocktails. Some come pre made from a machine which are good but a little too sweet for our personal tastes. However they will make you whatever you want off menu and everything is excellent. Stavros, Nora, Wilson and Alex deserve special mention here - incredibly friendly and helpful and some of the best bartenders we've had on holiday. Restaurants - I won't bother with the buffet because we generally don't enjoy them so it wouldn't be fair to comment. I will say the breakfast selection is good with a fresh eggs station, full English, bircher section, ultra fresh orange juice etc etc. There are three a la carte, Tes Ora (Italian) - very good pizza pasta salads etc, Meze (Greek) - hummus, pita, souvlaki, meats, fish etc and Yellow Sea (Asian) - kung pao chicken, spring rolls etc but also sushi and other Japanese dishes. The food is all very good. One thing to note is that you cannot order from a food menu around the pool/ beach. However this doesn't matter as there is a food truck serving gyros (excellent), burgers, hot dogs etc and you can wander over to the Italian for lunch too and enjoy the same menu as in the evening. We have not had trouble booking these and we have an a la carte reservation each evening... But we did book early. Beach - we haven't spent that much time on the beach but it's clean and the water is warm and crystal clear. Beach shoes are a must... Not just because it's a natural pebble beach but also because every dark surface naturally gets very hot in the close to 40C temperatures! Weather has also been beautiful which has been a bonus. Lastly, our hosts. When we arrived there was a small issue with the room (nothing wrong, just not what we expected) and Thaleia and team resolved it immediately. They actually went beyond our expectations which can't have been easy with an almost full hotel. Per above, there is the occasional teething issue but any concern you have or any extra thing you want is provided within minutes. We have stayed in Banyan Trees, shangri La, one and Only etc and never had responses as quickly, helpfully and professionally as we have from Thaleia and team. Thank you to her and them for making our stay so special!! We are going on a boat trip with the watersports place in front of the hotel tomorrow. What a wonderful experience! The location and accommodation was beyond anything we could have hoped for — spotless, comfortable, and so thoughtfully appointed. Every meal was an absolute delight; the food was delicious, beautifully presented! The attentiveness and enthusiasm made all the difference. Thaleia and your team of angels - you are brilliant, and it shows in everything from the smallest touches, the kindness to the big moments. We are leaving with the most wonderful memories, and we’ll be carrying them home with us long after this trip ends. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
