My family had a great stay here. We stayed in a Superior Double with Balcony and Castle View (room 17). I would highly recommend if you are staying in Lindos. Pros Awesome view at all times of the day. See picture from the lounge area at the top. Staff are awesome and 10/10. Very kind and personable. Can’t say enough good things about them. Truly impressed. Breakfast. This was much better than anticipated. Well worth the nominal extra fee. Great selection of pastries, fruit, juices and they can also make specialty coffee drinks and eggs made to order. Rooms are well designed and have all the necessities. Air conditioning was strong enough for our small room and we didn’t have any connecting walls to other rooms — just another room below us & nothing above. Location. Being near the main road is awesome for arrival and departure. No need to navigate long distances with luggage. I feel bad for the folks who have to carry their luggage deep into Lindos. Value- This is a great hotel at a great price. They do not cut corners here. Cons (stretching here) Mini bar- Prices were high. €3 for a beer. Nespresso pods not free. The 2 free waters per day are nice though. Arrival details- We didn’t use the hotel suggested ride service from the airport (probably should have) so we got dropped off far away and got a little lost. Not fun with heavy bags up and down cobblestones and stairs. Some better directions from the hotel would have saved us loads of time. (See tip below) Our balcony was far too small. Not comfortable for even 1 person. We did like it to dry off beach towels and bathing suits though! Tips Car rental- Rodos Car rental has an office onsite and the cars are parked right past the breakfast area. Super convenient. Driving here was very easy. Highly recommend. Drop off/departure- Ask to get dropped off/picked up just behind the hotel in a gravel parking lot/pull off area right across from the Lindos View Hotel. There is a pathway and stairs to the hotel. This area is also marked with signs. See picture. There is a grocery area at the bottom right when you get to “Main Street” of Lindos. We used it to stock up on cheaper beer for the mini fridge, snacks, water, etc. No need to book a balcony. We used the common lounging area right by the sky bar/breakfast area. Comfortable seating and shaded. We seemed to be the only people using it in the afternoon and evenings. Beaches- Lindos Beach is the way to go. Plenty big, nice sand and cheapest chairs/sun-beds. Saint Paul beach is picturesque but it’s rocky, small and too expensive - hard pass. Steps- You’ll be getting your steps in when staying in Lindos. Wear appropriate shoes and take it slow when going up and down steps. This town is not for folks with mobility issues. Acropolis- The hike up is not difficult. Great views when you get there. Highly recommend. Rhodes Town- Be sure you venture to Rhodes Town while you are here. We rented a car and drove there. Cool town with a different vibe/scenery but plenty of history. I hope this review helps you and yours. Safe travels. Cheers!
