Already written in Google but sharing on here too! (Also ran out of space to add more to Google reviews) Here for our honeymoon and loving it so far! Staff have been nothing but friendly and professional. Warm welcome at arrival and the ladies at reception were complementing my nails (I had custom made press ons made for my wedding) Then a gentleman had kindly taken my suitcase and directed us both to our room, explained everything and departed. Rooms are lovely spacious and clean with an excellent view. They decorated our bed with petal and roses on pillows (not sure if this comes standard but I assumed it's because they knew this is our honeymoon!) The shampoo, lotion and body wash smell incredible. Learned that in Greece you can't flush toilet paper so watch out for that! Had a great sleep the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is amazing, you are literally spoiled for choice. I had a pick and mix of everything to try out. We were too tired to go for food yesterday as it was a long day of travelling to get here so we ordered room service through the app, the gentleman was polite and set up our food outside to enjoy the views while we ate. Enjoyed our lunch today down at the restaurants with the lovely views and weather. Once again friendly attentive staff. Had a wee nosy around the hotel today to familiarise ourselves. Gym is a decent size and the playroom offers a pool table and foosball. There is also a spa but we haven't checked that out yet. At the pebble beach and there are free lounges to use and it's literally next to the resort. The infinity pool looks really cool and there's lounges around here too. You can rent a gazebo for the day at €80 which also includes fruit platter and two drinks if I remember rightly! There's a mini market just outside for any little bits and pieces you might need. If you're a cat lover you're in for a treat, so many cute cats around and they look very well fed and groomed. They are very friendly too so this is my idea of heaven haha! Went for the dinner buffet, at the time of this review it's €40 per person. There was an extensive choice of food to choose from but personally we will stick to the restaurants going forward as we both have very small appetites and don't eat enough to get our money's worth haha! They have themed nights and we went on the Greek one so I'm glad we at least got to try all the different things! We were relaxing in our room and heard the doorbell ring and when we answered one of the staff members arrived with a chocolate mousse cake with strawberry. I was confused at first thinking they had the wrong door but he said it was from the manager which was so sweet and thoughtful! Katalina and George the managers met us in reception and had a chat, they were both so lovely and sweet, you could tell they really care about wanting the best for the resort and customers. We were offered a complimentary dinner in the Italian restaurant which was appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed. Food was delicious and the service once again lovely. We don't drink alcohol but it's great that there's non alcoholic cocktails to choose from! Reception made it easy for us to get a taxi to Lindos town to visit the acropolis, they did all the work and all we had to do was just wait for it to arrive! (€14 one way at time of booking) And it's only a 10 minute drive so it's very close! The lady at the spa reception was very helpful going through the options and giving recommendations while listening to our needs, gifting us a product after booking the Cretan massages (70 mins). We were able to do it together in the same room, although we couldn't see each other or speak it was just nice to be in each others presence and enjoy it together. I had Maria who always made sure throughout I was ok and enjoying it and to let her know at any point if I need her to massage harder or softer (I chose mild). There was relaxing music during the process and I felt great and the most relaxed I've ever felt by the end of it! My husband had Theodore who also had a great experience (he chose moderate). It's not something we often do but as it was a honeymoon we decided to splash out and treat ourselves (€320 in total at time of purchase) Previous reviews mentioned about staff wearing different uniforms but I found it to be fine, it's nice to see a bit of variety and gives it a relaxed vibe while looking neat and tidy (bear in mind they work in a hot climate so comfort should come first to the staff!) Not sure why they got negative reviews recently on Google because everyone and everything has been lovely and top tier so far. Be nice to others and you should get the same treatment back! Just want to thank everyone again for making us feel so welcome. This was my husband's first ever holiday abroad and you've made this a memorable and special honeymoon for both us.
