Lindos Princess Beach

The rooms are renovated and pretty clean. The pool area is really crowded and it is hard to get a sunbed. The worst part was the food quality. Although on paper it seemed like high range of options, everything seemed just really dull, from watery fish, to salt-less fries and mushy extras. I really struggle to find anything to eat every day. The best option is the pizza snack bar that has lengthy queues anytime you go. I can’t remember any other place where I struggled to eat that much.

We’ve visited hotel for the last two years, near enough the same time of year and this year there has been some changes. Some good some bad. Good ones. The rooms have been renovated and are lovely The grounds seem better maintained and there was less issues of ants etc There are hot drink making facilities in the room Bad ones The entertainment crew are totally different and while they are great in their own right the team last year were fantastic. They don’t open the coffee machines as early, i know it may be due to having the facilities in the room but if you want a nice coffee you need to wait until 8am unless you go to breakfast It doesn’t seem as efficient we were at the pool at 10am and they hadn’t put the slides on. I didn’t find the food as good this year however my husband found it fine. Overall it is still a nice (huge) hotel, very picturesque but it is very busy (sometimes dinner feels like a free for all) but I think this year will be our last.

I stayed here on a family holiday during the May half term. Between us we had 2 family rooms and a double room, all beach front rooms. We haven’t been abroad for 7 years so we were slightly worried about what the holiday would be like. I have to say we had nothing to be worried about. This hotel is nothing short of superb. Firstly it’s a huge complex so there is plenty to do. There are 3 swimming pools, the main pool with entertainment, a small pool for little ones with very small slides and then a beach pool that had 3 good slides for older kids and adults alike. Our rooms all overlooked the beach pool and the beach itself, providing us with some stunning views during the day and at night. For us the beach bar and restaurant was by far the best place to eat and drink. We ventured into the main eating area for breakfast twice and found it like hell. Too many people rushing around like they’ve never been fed before. The beach restaurant was a lot more chilled out and had a good food selection for breakfast, lunch and evening meal (including a bbq daily). It also has 2 bars which offer a huge range of drinks and ice creams. You can also get milk shakes, slushies and iced coffees as and when you please. There is also a gyros and pizza station proving great street food during the day. The beach itself wasn’t great, not golden sand so we only went to the beach when we hired a jet ski. We arrived late at the hotel and were met by a really friendly team who went above and beyond to make our check in fast and easy. There was an old guy who was brilliant with the kids upon arrival. Our room was stunning. A huge double bed for adults and 2 single sofa beds for the kids. We had a fridge that was restocked with beer, water and soft drinks every other day. The air conditioning was great when it worked, we did have a couple of issues with it but the maintenance team sorted this within minutes. The bathroom was huge with a massive double sink and walk in shower. The safe in the room was free to use and I was particular impressed with the 3 usb c points in amongst the various light switches and plus around the room. There was a tennis court, basketball court and a football pitch which we used. We did play mini golf but it wasn’t the best. We used the Italian restaurant once during our stay and the food was stunning. You pay for drinks in the restaurant but we didn’t mind. The main bar (next to reception) was the only bar that served drinks on a glass. We really liked this bar as it has a roof terrace and also seating inside with access to 3 pool tables. The beach bar has entertainment on every night if you don’t fancy going to the main arena. We went to the arena once to watch a show that was good. Location is ok, two supermarket style shops within a 2 minute walk but other than that you need to drive or get a bus to go anywhere. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you to Lindos for 2 euros and is approx 15 minute ride. The bus drops you at the top of a big hill you then walk into Lindos. Overall I was really impressed with the hotel. Everyone in our party had a great holiday and I would highly recommend staying here as a family

Just returned home from Lindos Princess Beach Hotel I in Lardos, and it was first class, the staff in the top bar were great George and his team couldn’t do enough for my wife and I, even the young guy in the shop called Bohdan was great, and in a morning a girl called Dea looked after us really well,this was our 18th stay at the hotel and we can’t wait to book for next year.
