What a wonderful hotel! We went to Lindos for a family wedding, there were 10 of us on our booking that stayed here at Lindos View. Arriving early hours in the morning the person greeting us at reception was very friendly and attentive, he… Show more made sure to show each of us to our rooms and how things work. He was wonderful. We settled in very quickly and then onto breakfast the next day… one of our family members has a severe nut allergy, the first morning we were there, the chef came out to speak to us and let her know exactly what she could and couldn’t eat, how everything was prepared and even what everything had in it. He then continued to do this for every single evening meal we had at the hotel. He made sure to walk her around the entire buffet pointing out each potential allergen. What an amazing experience and it put us all at ease to know she was being taken care of in the best way. The food was delicious too. The hotel overall is very clean and lovely. Sun beds are comfy and the service is great. The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is quite literally at the top of Lindos looking over it hence ‘Lindos View’ so you can just walk down the hill and you are in the main part. The hill is steep so there is a shuttle bus at the top to take you down and up for €0.50 each. But they also have golf buggies for €5 to take you up or down and also taxi’s in Lindos square. A taxi from the square up to Lindos view hotel is approx €6-7. If you want to go into Rhodes, there is a bus that goes from outside the supermarket (on the same road as the hotel) that is €5.50 each way. The bus takes approximately 1.5 hours each way so be prepared for that but it is a pleasant drive as the views are lovely. The hotel is very central to some beaches so we had a walk down to St Paul’s Bay one of the days, this took approx 10 mins down the hill (to the right of the hotel) was a beautiful day but if you rent out the sun loungers on the main bit that belongs to the bar, it will cost €50 for 2 beds. There is another side with a smaller beach where you could sunbathe for free if you wanted to. It’s a stunning place so either way you will have an amazing day! Overall this holiday was fantastic and the hotel was incredible. We would absolutely return here again one day. The pictures really do not do it justice. Show less
