Booked the unique package and was great. Senel was our butler and was always available to help. Nearlyall members of staff struggled to understand / speak English which was sometimes difficult but overall a lovely holiday.

Special shout out to the butler Isaury de los santos from butler service Resort was ok. Beach was nice Food was good at the steak house

There was more bad than good unfortunately. Room - pool view king room I had issues with bad smell , despite them sending someone who cleaned out the drain in shower . It didn’t matter every time I enter the room the smell hits you in the face. Coffee machine you can tell was never cleaned I didn’t use it despite loving to have coffee in room first thing like most people, I would imagine . Room is big and bed was comfy so that was a plus . I had issues with sink and toilet as well They will send someone to fix whatever is wrong but it’s annoying when you have so many in one stay . Is there not quality control of some sort to inspect room ? I stayed in st Thomas and literally witnessed them do that. They follow right after house keeping to make sure all necessities work like phone and bathroom etc. they don’t wait till you have complaints is my main point. Proactive. When first arrived I went to Courtesy bathroom area they let you use in case room. Isn’t ready which is 3pm . The smell on that floor and that bathroom was unbearable. I had to hold my breath. Mold / dirty drain smell . Go elsewhere. If you upgrade to Unique the food is good if you don’t well it’s just passable and more limited variety. They have a lot of restaurants I won’t break that down as everyone likes different types of food so palette is different for all . You need reservations for most and can’t do till you are checked in . No advance booking like hotel apps allow. Drinks were underwhelming- they make what they do offer strong but the choices are very Low brand even in the unique section which is supposed to have premium liquor - if you want patron and grey goose for example you have to pay separately for that . Sparkling wine was one choice . So hope that gives some insight. So you manage your expectations. Housekeeping- they do a good job remember to tip they work hard and have so many rooms to do. Be mindful to request a time for your room cleaning if you have a certain schedule and don’t want that in your way etc . My first day they didn’t arrive till 5pm right when I needed to get ready , shower etc. for dinner . So lesson learned- make a request they don’t mind that and will accommodate where possible. The resort has three sections- regular, adults only and Unique ( unique can access all of them ) the problem is how far apart things are there was no rhyme or reason to where things are . For example you come expecting to get a towel at which ever pool/ beach area you pick for the day . Not here there is only one place to go get towels so if you forget or choose somewhere no where near the stand you have to walk clean across the whole resort to go get towels . It’s like 100 degrees no one wants to do that . On top of that when I checked in no one mentioned that so my first day of course I showed up to a pool and had to leave and take the long walk to go get towels . So annoying. Pool area - if you are someone who likes a relaxed pool area and some level of quiet so you can read there only one place to do that ( adults only pool) which is all the way in the back furthest from beach area . Other than that the Music coming from main pool Which is Latin music all day can be heard from everywhere. If this will bother you do not stay here . I am used to music at pools but this was next level loud . I was taken by surprise. So hope that helps others pick what’s best for them especially if traveling with little ones . The service- service in all unique areas is outstanding . Nothing was too big an ask and they are delighted to help and smiled and looked happy to be there . Other areas or bars especially I found common and avoid eye contact, slow pace , leave you standing there type of feeling. I don’t know what it was but in general- not a particular place . But so opposite of how welcome I felt when I entered a unique restaurant, lounge or bar . Not sure what that was about in non unique area, but I felt it . Resort is big , clean in common areas - all public bathrooms need upgrades. Saw issues in almost all of them. One soap dispenser for a whole bathroom that had like 10 sinks is ridiculous! The water flowing out of faucet was a trickle especially the one in the evening club - people need to wash their hands properly and the proper facilities for it . Lobby is beautiful. There is a large bar there where a lot of people gathered before dinner and they have live music ( jazz and others ) while you sip a drink found this area very nice . Beach - is clean and beautiful and soft sand . Be mindful the beach is broken up into three area depending on what you booked they are all nice so can’t go wrong there and each has its own beach club . One annoyance was the boats / booze cruise that come up in the water they come very close to the swim area and were blasting music that was not only overly loud but also competes with music already blasting from main pool. So it was ALOT! I have been to countless resorts and never seen that being allowed - especially that close . Not sure why something isn’t being done about that . Pet peeve - is being hit on continuously by the men who work there ( not all of them ) Even if I said I have a boyfriend- they replied “ I don’t care “ I did absolutely nothing to encourage or indicate any interest you are working and representing the resort while in uniform . Have more respect for female clients. On that note hope the this helps next person decide if this is right place for their vacation. For me personally not so much .

THE MOST TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I WAS THERE TO CELEBRATE MY BIRTHDAY WITH MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS A GROUP OF 40+ AND EVERYONE EXPERIENCED AN ISSUE DAILY. INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO INCORRECT ROOMS, ROACHES, AC NOT WORKING, RUDE STAFF, NO HOT WATER, NO TOWELS, NO MANAGEMENT..LIST GOES ON. ON OUR LAST NIGHT A WAITER HAD AN ACCIDENT AND DROPPED GLASSWEAR EVERYONE AT DINNER AND GLASS WENT INTO MY HUSBANDS EYE AND MY HAIR AND THEY SAID BECAUSE I DIDNT GET THE MED PACKAGE THEY COULDN'T OFFER MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TO RINSE HIS EYE AND ENSURE THERE WAS NO GLASS IN HIS EYE. OTHER GUESTS ASSISTED US MORE THAN THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT. NEVER AGAIN LOPESAN!!!
