Official Description

Hotel Los Zocos Impressive Lanzarote is located close to Las Cucharas Beach in Costa Teguise. It has accommodation of suites and family suites ideal for a family holiday. It is completely renovated in 2016 and has a total of 324 suites with one to two separate bedrooms, a living area with a kitchenette with 2-ring ceramic hob, microwave, electric kettle and fridge. The safe is available to rent. All have furnished Balcony or Terrace. The modern suites have air conditioning/heating system (depending on season), bathroom with shower or bath plus flat screen TV with national and international channels. The Resort consists of 3 blocks of suites separated from each other by a large area of subtropical gardens and two large areas of 5 swimming pools for adults and children, one of them acclimatized plus a lane pool for swimmers. For the little ones there is a Mini Club and an entertainment program. It has 2 buffet-style restaurants, El Mirador and El Boulevard, offering national and international cuisine. You can also book a dinner at the Italian Restaurant. (one visit per 7 days stay on all inclusive) Guests have the possibility to upgrade to our premium services that guarantees access to Premium Bar and Sunbeds area and consumption of premium brand drinks plus premium extras added to your suite. At night they offer a varied entertainment program, accompanied with drinks at El Galeón cocktail bar and Aguamarina nightclub. In addition, they offer Wi-Fi Internet access, Internet Corner in reception (payable locally) , 2 tennis courts and an Astroturf multisport court. There is free outdoor parking and you have the Beauty Center for a relaxing massage or beauty treatment (payable locally).

2nd pleasant visit

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel. It was just as good as the first. The whole place is very clean. All the staff are friendly. Reception staff are lovely and nothing is a problem. We only had one issue with the room. The shower screen is just not wide enough so every time we used the shower the floor was soaking. The room is nice and big with everything you could need. We were all inclusive but did stay in a few nights so the toaster came in handy. The weather was very hit and miss so there was always loads of empty sunbeds haha. The entertainment room was pretty full most nights i think because of the weather, got to admit it's a strange room with big pillars blocking the stage depending where you sat. Location was good and not far from the beach. Would definitely stay here again. All the staff need to be praised.

I couldn't really fault the place everyone was kind and friendly, the only down side is the pool it was far too cold. The Chinese Buffett wasn't the best. I would return to this hotel.

Vegetarians beware, rooms could be cleaner.

Unfortunately the big issue is the failure to cater for vegetarian, particularly at lunch time and in the evenings. So many of the salads have fish or poultry added so vegetarians can't eat them. So many staff don't seem to understand that vegetarians CANNOT eat fish. One salad labelled couscous and vegetables contained chicken. At the pizza station all the pizza had meat. They made one without when we asked them to and it was grabbed by guests immediately. At the hot meal stations there is never a vegetarian option. It would be so easy to offer things like vegetarian burgers, vegetarian curries or basically any vegetarian alternative alongside the meat option. As the vegetarians of our party wandered around looking for vegetarian options we met so many guests looking for the same. Cleaning needs to be better. There were hairs on the bench at the table in our room/apartment. When the floors are cleaned they are not getting right into the corners. The skirting board had not been cleaned, was very dusty. In one of our rooms the tv wasn't working so we felt around it for a power button to try and reset it and our hands were covered in dust! It hadn't been cleaned in weeks or months. It went off cold at night so we wanted to turn the heating on but it just blew out cold air, whether on the heating or air-conditioning settings.

Ideal location for us as we like walking. Only about 1 mile from the centre of Costa Tegues along nice prom with cafes along the way if you wanted to sit and people watch. Also walks in other directions though mainly road walking. The resort was clean and tidy even though a bit of refurbishment was happening. The hotel was very good, clean and well maintained. The pools were cleaned every day even though they weren't being used due to the poor weather. The food was excellent and always plentiful. The one down side was the evening entertainment. One of the bars was very cold due to the winds and low temperature (13 to 16c daily). All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the 2wks we were there. A holiday spoiled but only because of the weather

Built in 1985, the majority of the complex was renovated in 2016 with upgrades to other rooms in 2020 and is located in the town of Costa Teguise, one of the touristic resorts on Lanzarote. The complex is situated just 100 meters from the white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters of La Cucharas Beach and numerous restaurants, bars, shops and banks. It contains a number of 3-storey buildings with a total of 324 suites of one or two bedrooms all decorated with a modern design. The Buffet Restaurants and the Pool Bar offer a variety of national and international dishes suitable for all tastes. Guests are offered beautiful large garden areas and pool area (35,000 m²); a substantial lobby, Safe hire, sales of excursions, Wi-Fi , Equipment rental, TV , All Inclusive Upgrades, rent a car and a 24-hour reception service. Just outside the main reception there is a supermarket, and souvenir / gift shops.
