Was very apprehensive about going to the hotel after reading the reviews. The reception area was bright clean and modern. The room was clean and spacious but needed updating especially the bathroom and kitchenette. We were just board basis so cannot comment on the food. The outside light was not working so was hard to see the lock to get into our room, we did mention in the first night , we were promised someone would come out to fix it, they never did. The only down side was a group of young lads on a stag do drinking round the pool, I have no objection to that we all like to have fun but it was the very colourful language and very loud at that. To say the hotel has lots of do's and don'ts staff did not care about the loudness and language and also the loud music they were playing. Nice walk to old town and found some nice restaurants. Beaches are amazing but be aware 2 sunbeds and a sun shade cost 21 euros. Also be aware the put put cars charge 10€ even if you go a short journey.

Booked here for 5 nights through booking.com after spending 2 nights in Portimao and quickly realising there wasn't much to do in the area. Having been to Albufeira before we decided to move the rest of our trip to here. Hotel was spotlessly clean, maybe a little dated but totally acceptable. Reception staff were polite and helpful and no deposit required. The hotel is in a good area and close to the old town, maybe a 10 minute walk. Close to local shops and the supermarket. Apartments are self catering and well equipped. Towels changed every other day and beds made each day. We had a late flight home and we were able to keep our room until 6.30pm for an extra 40 euros. We didn't use the restaurant at the hotel so can't comment on food. For the price, it's a great location and I would definitely come back and stay again.

The hotel wasn't all bad but there were a few big failings. I guess the worst thing was the cleaning lady stole my phone and battery pack/charger. They went missing at different times towards the end of the holiday. The staff, apart from the cleaning lady, were the best part of the hotel experience. The food was OK, bland, undercooked, and tasteless but we managed to eat something everyday. The swimming pool was dangerous with no warnings about the depth, the two ladders into the pool were at over 2 meters deep with no warning. The pool was quite dirty and was very green when we first got to the hotel but someone must have complained as they made more of an effort to clean it every day. There were also no life guards which given the depth of the pool is again dangerous. There as no entertainment which I will take up with Loveholidays as they said there would be entertainment, it's one of the selling points which made us choose the hotel initially. The rooms were OK but smelly so we bought our own bleach and that improved the issue. The air conditioning was very poor when we eventually got it working. The rooms had a kitchen area but no kettle which was weird. The bathroom was dirty and the shower/taps was coming off the wall. It looked like a regular issue as the sealant used looked quite newly applied.... even though it didn't do the job. The reception gave us one key, I am an early riser and get up and go for a walk before my wife gets up. Since we had only the one key I was reluctant to lock her in in case there was a fire. On one morning my wife woke up with a strange Irishman in our bed, he was clearly drunk and my wife was terrified. Reception, once again, were pretty awful suggesting it was my fault for not locking her in. Portugal is an amazing place and the weather was beautiful but the hotel let the country down.

4 lads on a golfing trip. Beds where not changed. One chap had to sleep on the couch for 5 days. Shower didn't work. Chair broken in the room. Fridge was frozen solid, light in the kitchen over the table wasn't over the table as it sat on the table.Complained and looked for room change but took upgrade to all inclusive, worst decision made was accepting that, Food dry, no flavor not enough choice. They couldn't get the icecream right. I think they bought the 3 of the 4 star advertise on temu. We were checking out on the mornig to leave adn they had someone call at 8am to fix the shower and then 8.30 we were offer teatowel. it was the 1st time i stayed in a hotel and not one person imploded smiled. Disaster Stay away.

After reading the reviews we were a bit apprehensive about going. We were a family of 11 and age range of 15 - 70!! Overall it was definitely better than expected. Reception staff were very helpful on arrival. No deposit asked for and everything explained thoroughly. 2 rooms were ready and 1 not far behind and as we arrived at 3pm we could have lunch on our check out day 👍 The hotel is a bit of a maze but soon worked out how to get round! Rooms were clean and spacious although a bit dated but absolutely fine. Air Conditioning was brilliant and worked fine. Pool area was good but could do with a bit of TLC in places. We all managed to get sunbeds around one of our ground floor room which was perfect 👌 Food from the Pool bar was limited but really nice and drinks were certainly not watered down! The food from the buffet was not great but ok.... unfortunately it wasn't that hot most of the time 😔. Most of the staff were nice but let down by 1 barman (Andre)....he has a really bad attitude and came across rude to most of our group (and others). We didn't expect too much from him but a smile or a friendly acknowledgment would have been nice. We felt he wasn't happy in his job 🙄 Hotel situated in a good area for the New and Old Town of Albufeira and getting about is easy. All in all we had a lovely stay.
