Honest review from a family of 7, Single mum travelling with my parents and my 4 children (8,7,4&2) Paid extra through TUI for pool view rooms requesting to be together. Was opposite sides of the pool and went in the spanish bank holiday so was rammo and couldn’t be moved or accommodated to. My room was covered in ants and the aircon barely worked it didn’t turn off at all and would have a mind of its own as to whether it was cold or gonna throw warm air! Honestly wouldn’t ever come back, been to many all inclusive holidays, usually do the holiday villages through tui. BUSY, so so busy and the main ‘pool’ just isn’t big enough, i know there’s a waterpark but again getting decent sunbeds there without paying is impossible! Not allowed inflatables etc just armbands and small small rubber rings for smaller children. Bars are also rammo and slow and there was only 1 really nice lady at the pool bar, the others were rude and only really liked serving the spanish. One lady would give cream on milkshakes the other got arsey even being asked to pour a milkshake! We wasn’t premium even though we was in a premium room as this would’ve been an extra £600 on arrival which after paying £6200 for the holiday we wasn’t prepared to fork out anymore for the sake of pizza and queue skipping for drinks, even with the complimentary ‘premium buffet’ that was rammo so ended up going to the normal one . Pool ‘snacks’ are just crisps, nachos, peanuts and whatever little bits are somewhere behind the bar, again been on so many holidays were pizzas etc was on offer as ‘snack’. Water park does have more hot options but again the queue is crazy and up 2 lots of steep stairs nor is the food all that there. Food at the resort was awful, we all lived off bread rolls and chips, breakfast was okay as standard full english and continental. Was upgraded to the premium buffet after expressing my daughter was ASD and was struggling with the busyness, i’ve never known such queues and busyness in resorts and we’ve been to many! nothing seems big enough for the amount of lodges this place has! make sure you’re early for breakfast lunch and dinner or you’ll be waiting for an hour to get into the restaurant in the boiling heat. Entertainment was repetitive and boring, the kids just wanted to go back to the lodge and sleep in the end. I really wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, which is sad because we was really hoping after reading reviews we would have a positive experience. The kids enjoyed the foam party and swimming but apart from that they was very bored. As in, genuinely look around as there is SO many better hotels and resorts than this one. One thing i will say is the manager Ellie is lovely and really did try everything she could when it came to the room situation, and she gave us the premium buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner for our whole stay for free to help out. Also the TUI rep was mega lovely. I really would look around at some other resorts as this isn’t cheap and not worth the money at all!

Not too bad, could be better.

After spending 9 days here, I have a true mixed review. When you get there the first day, it seems to take forever to book you in once you are done they put on a buggy to take you to your room woth luggage and then collect you when your holiday finishes. The place itself is really nice, really clean and looked after with great views of the zoo, and benidorm. The lodges were also very clean, comfy, spacious for what is needed and the room serviced every day with a refill of soft and alcoholic drinks, free WiFi on site where you have to get codes (can have upto 6 devices connected) but the code only lasts 4 hours you do get 4-5 collected from reception. Now onto the actual site, as say we spent 9 days here which is very very hilly but they do have a internal train which runs most the day til midnight which picks you up and drops you near your lodge and also goes to and from Terra Natura and Aqua Natura but it's often quite busy so you either have to wait for the next time it comes hoping it isn't going to be full or take a walk which isnt too great when you've got a push chair. The pools, a few to choose from wasn't overly busy but we went out of UK school holiday term so I can imagine it would get very very busy so may find it hard to get by either pool and the kids ain't allowed any kind of inflatable toys (beach balls/bigger rings) but are allowed a small rubber ring available to purchase from the site shop and you can hire larger towels at 10 euro each deposit and could also hire covered seats/canopy etc at 30 euro fir the deluxe. There you'll also find a mini bar (sometimes busy), The main pool is quite small in comparison to another hotels pools but this is where the action is, water polo, Aqua zumba, mat running and a foam party which goes over the baby pool but only lasts 10 mins then thats it. The shop on site is well stocked with everything you'd need for your stay, However if you only have notes amd need them changing for the little machines, they won't give you change if you ask for it and have to go to reception then once you get there you're lucky if you get sorted in under 10 mins, they definitely put Spanish before anyone else often speaking at least 10 mins before they finally come to you. Let's carry on about the holiday itself, food was to be expected mainly Spanish foods however there was some English food not a great choice though but manageable. Breakfast was probably the better option. Breakfast 7-11 then nothing else till lunchtime which is fine as you'd eaten at breakfast. You can get ham and cheese sandwiches, cheese and onion rolls, sausage rolls, plate of crisps, or doughnuts from the bars. They do have snacks but only served from 16.30-18.00 (this is the better option kebabs, burgers, hot dogs etc) then back to dinnertime from 19.00, then snack bar from 22.00 again til 23.00. However they do have other restaurants where you can book to use (Italian and meat restaurants) and they also will deliver pizza to your room again need to pre order but well worth it. Now the biggest downfall was the entertainment, it was absolutely garbage amd very very boring. This was near on none existent. Starts with a mini disco at 20.00-20.30/45 in the main area. They'd then open up what is the main stage (middle of the zoo) the entertainment starts at 21.00 and finished by 21.30 which mainly the same people from the park just a different show then you're left with a bit of music and whatever else they decide they want to put on from 23.00 usually a live singer that can't sing and she also does the same songs every night, you soon get very bored. Basically this could be miles better if was run correctly. Ideally: Kids disco from 19.00 Other family entertainment 20.00 (quiz, bingo etc) 21.00 main entertainment for at least an hour. Taking us to 22.00 where they could do karaoke, or music request anything else other than being left with nothing. Then could take the kids back at a reasonable time. Overall, the place was nice, clean and the staff were friendly. Food could be better, entertainment needs to be much much better and more entertaining for families, a lot of the kids we're bored. Pros Clean Friendly Kind Plenty of refreshment (pop, and alcohol) Free access to the zoo and water park Cons Hilly Food Entertainment Small pools

Would only give 3 stars. Main pool is filthy and the food is very cold and hit and miss. Cleaners dont always clean room

The place is very outdoorsy, more than i expected. It takes a while to get used to as it is quite a big accommodation. The food is not hot and it is the same every day. The entertainment could also be a lot better, some nights are good and some nights are not the best. The main pool is always very busy and is quite small, considering it is very expensive i would have thought it would be way better, due to the accommodation being big it’s a lot of walking about from your lodge to the square or the pool, You can get a train but sometimes takes a long wait. We booked this hotel due to the reviews being really good and it being a 4 star hotel but i guess some people aren’t honest. The zoo and water park is fantastic but the actual hotel is very disappointing, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for a week myself my daughter and 2 granddaughters age 5 and 1 unusupally I’m gonna start off with the negatives as the positives out way and are more lengthy if you are skyline in polynesian rooms be prepared for the mother of all banks it’s steep very steep on our last day it rained heavy and walking down that bank with a pushchair was lethal very slippy my daughter slipped back and fell and the pushchair hurled down the bank with my 1 year old granddaughter and omg I’ve never been as terrified in my life luckily at the bottom it hit another pushchair and a man grabbed her she wasn’t hurt just frightened the zoo has no free restaurants or drinking places only payable ones we were all inclusive plus it’s annoying to pay for all inclusive but part of the resort doesn’t cater for it the waterpark there is 1 restaurant at the entrance and if your a smoker it’s a nightmare as 99% in the whole resort you can’t smoke you can outside your lodge and designated outside where the shop is and none in the zoo and only at the entrance to the waterpark, invest in a small metal portable ashtray it was a god send to me lol there is a lot of walking so take a comfy pair of shoes while we were there they had invested in a small travel Passenger train they were practising in the car park as the little bus they had wasn’t big enough or frequent enough, the mini bar was supposed to be restocked evey day it wasn’t it was hit n miss and the big sun loungers with canopy’s are not free they cost £35 euros a day NOW the positives the food is one of the better buffets I’ve had the sauces and salad creams are all named brands there is a fridge full of bottles of red, white, rose and carva which you can take and drink in your room or to a table outside. If you want the Italians or exotic meats restaurant they need to be pre booked and they are quieter than the main Tuvalu 3 restaurant the smaller splash pool area and infinity pools are lovely but be warned the water is FREEZING I’ve no idea why but these were the coldest pools I’ve ever encountered the entertainment is fab some really good acts magicians acrobats and singers and all the drinks are branded not the cheap rubbish baileys archers Smirnoff vodka the views are stunning it is a really nice resort but if I was to go again definitely need a lower down lodge

Family holiday nightmares

Rude staff. Food was not in any order and all over and wasn’t very good for even buffet standards. The kids disco was the same songs ever night. The entertainment on the evening was more cater towards adults than the kids. Beds are hard and the rooms are not very big also no air con in kids bedroom or fan… On the terrace if you get the room upgrades there is no gate to keep kids enclosed from the road. The zoo actually made me physically cry seeing the emaciated animals and poor habitat conditions of a load of different animals chucked in a pen together. Definitely not good value for money and will not be back.
