Magic Natura Animal, Waterpark & Polynesian Resort

After reading the odd reviews and watching tik tok videos I was a little concerned that we'd made the wrong choice. We were very mistaken. I'm not sure what people expect or want for their money, but the value you get here when you upgrade to ultra all inclusive is amazing. Let's start with the pools...ok, they arnt massive. There a re 3 tiered pools over looking the elephants and the zoo next door, which is lovely to sit of an afternoon in the pool watching watching the elephants. The main pool is small. The pool bar doesn't serve hot food, just crisps, nachos and bits like that. The zoo next door which unlimited entry is included in your stay, is fantastic. It's very intimate. The tiger area is particularly good, and the little black marmosets. The avery is also brilliant, if you keep your eyes peeled there us a sloth in there. The waterpark, again included in your stay is amazing!! We spent most of our time in here, hence why the pools weren't an issue. There are free sun beds for residents of the hotel, look out for the grey floor, also get there for opening to hire your tubes, that way you don't have to queue for the slides. You can eat here for free on the all inclusive, it's in a seperate area upstairs where they do chips, nuggets, kebabs, burgers, ice cream and drinks. The food in the hotel....we read alot of reviews of people slating the food. Honestly, you can't ask for more selection. Yes, there is alot of cake at breakfast, but there's also lots of other things, full English brekkie, pancakes, etc. Dinner and tea were brilliant, always something different, and let me tell you the gravy....🤤😋😋 we are really simple eaters though, as long as there are meat and chips etc I'm happy 🤣 they did have English night's with fish and chips, and cottage pie. Very very good. Can't praise the food enough. The a la carte restaurants are included in ultra all inclusive, we went to the Italian and they have robots that bring out your food. Very fun, very tasty. The entertainment also very good. It is through a gate set in the zoo. We really enjoyed this, however the queue for the bar gets very long and takes aggressive to get a drink. It is a very hilly resort, they do have buggys that take you to your lodge when you arrive and when you check out. There is also a free coach into benidorm old town that goes a fre times a day, there is a timetable at the bus top at the entrance to the hotel. Overall we were pleasantly surprised. We had a lovely week at the magic natura and would definitely visit again. Thankyou to all the staff for such a great stay. ❤️

I have left this a week to write the review to be as objective as possible. The three major facts the brochure needs to highlight 1. All inclusive is NOT all inclusive. You need to pay extra to use the themed restaurants. 2. The terrain is hilly with some very steep hills. For those with mobility problems may struggle. Young and old were hiring mobility scooters. 3. Your room may not be ready until 5pm. Have your swim gear to hand when you store your luggage. At best a 3 star hotel. Positives The zoo and water park The deposit for drink cups means no piles of empty cups by sun beds. Very few sun beds had towels on at 9am. Branded beer (Cruzcampo) and spirits. No smoking. Watching the elephants in their paddock whilst we were in the affinity pool. Neutrals Food is average to poor with a good selection. The communication for activities is via an app. I suggest you download and explore before you arrive. There is a big board outside the restaurant but it’s not used. We learnt more from other tourists. The pools are small do not expect to be using a Lino or play ball games in the pools. The hotel provide a train to aid tourist to their rooms because of the terrain. There is a free coach into Benidorm. The majority of staff were unfriendly and very few spoke English should you have a question. At times the main restaurant had 20 minutes waits for breakfast and dinner. I suggest visiting the main restaurant during the snack times to explore all the food options available. The afternoon snack bar had hot dogs, burgers and kebab meat. We sat on sunbeds between 930am to 430pm, about 60% of the sun beds with towels on were only occupied may be for an hour whilst we were there. Some not used at all. The sunbeds are all touching too close together. The main infinity pools rarely had a life guard. So kids being kids were jumping into the pool constantly forcing other pool users to the edges of the pool. No hot food available pool side only crisps, tachos, sandwich’s and doughnuts. Negatives The terrain is very hilly. No air conditioned reception, communal areas or bars. It took 35 minutes to book in with only a diluted squash available. The rooms need some TLC our shower leaked. The walls are thin we were woken up at midnight when our neighbours returned and we could clearly hear their conversation. Waiting for our room to be cleaned and ready. (We happened to visit the manager for wi-fi codes we asked about our room being ready at 330pm. She informed us it was ready however the reception did not call us until 430pm!!!! Not sure why the hour delay?) WI-FI you need to get 4 hour slot codes from reception. No meet and greet meeting from Jet 2. Overall we think we did not get the best out of our 7 days due to communication to fully use all the facilities. The adult activities were not encouraged by staff and we had no idea where to go. There were a number of families on their 3-4 visit to the hotel. Maybe we have been spoilt on our previous Spanish holidays in 4 star hotels it did not meet our expectations.

I really love this place it was our second time coming and we are looking at coming back in October i think this might be our yearly place to come the staff are amazing but the member who stood out was Teresa Moreno she was always happy to help and went above and beyond always had a smile on her face

The Magic Natura is fabulous. Fantastic for families, so much to do. Kids club and entertainers are great. Food was really good and huge variety - something for everyone. Our lodge was great, really good size with lots of storage. Had a couple of minor issues which were sorted out really quickly. The views are amazing, pools are fab, waterpark was loads of fun, zoo was great. It is very hilly, but the train on site is quite frequent and will take you up and down. Plenty of places to relax if you don't want to be around the noisy parts. Had such a good time we have rebooked for next year.
