Makunudu Island Resort

Our third time to the Maldives and this tiny island is by far the best. If you are looking for a non pretentious no frills true Maldivian island this is it. Great food, excellent dive centre and great staff. With it's beautiful beaches, spa and a very relaxed no shoes Maldivian vibe it made for a wonderful unforgettable holiday. All the staff on the island from the maintenance workers through to the beach boys, room boys, bar staff, waiters and reception staff were a great credit in making our stay such a memorable and enjoyable one. Must give personal thanks to Ibrahim for looking after our room, Samir and Milon in the bar and Tiny from the spa. Lasanta our waiter who looked after us in the restaurant, who according to my wife made the best tea. And especially Sneha on reception who we will always remember. You made our evening's with our goodnight chats, high fives and laughter. Thank you Mr Abdulla Shaugy and all your staff for such a great time on this beautiful island. If you are looking for a quiet no fuss relaxing Maldivian holiday this is truly the place to be
