-Mandarin Oriental Bodrum is a resort hotel of refined retreat for getaway and leisure travellers in the beautiful peninsula of Bodrum nestled in Cennet Koyu - Paradise Bay. -5 minutes drive from the town of Golturkbuku -45 minutes drive from Bodrum International Airport -60 minutes flight from Istanbul - In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic; we have implemented stringent protocols to further safeguard the comfort; health and safety of guests and employees. Existing high standards of health and hygiene have been enhanced and we remain alert to local advice form health experts and government authorities; adapting best practices accordingly. My preferred hotel brand does not have a property in Bodrum. Having visited 3 prior MO properties, I decided to try MO Bodrum. I read the reviews before going and had an idea of what to expect. Yes, this property is very pricey for Turkey. However, the views are gorgeous, suites are spacious and comfortable and staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I was told the property was at 84% occupancy but it didn’t feel like it at all. During high season in July and August, it can accommodate 3K people. I ate at 3 restaurants on property. The food is good and the staff work extremely hard. With the exception of an issue at Harrakan, service was very good. I dined at Hakkasan and the appetizer was good. However, my server never placed the order for my entree and he did not check back in with me for 45 mins. When he did, he asked if I decided on an entree. He was supposed to check with the chef regarding a food allergy and let me know which dishes I could order. After 1.5 hrs, I paid the check and left having had only a drink and appetizer- a bit disappointing. Dinner at Sofra was redeeming- Emre on the wait staff- and the manager on duty were fantastic. Breakfast is buffet with an a la cart menu. I suggest sitting outside for better service. Yunus and Ramazan were fantastic at breakfast. I sat inside and had to ask for napkins, utensils, and the menu from one of the outside wait staff before being served. One thing I noticed, they seat guests before the staff have a chance to clean and reset the tables. There doesn’t appear to be a system to mark which tables are already occupied. I saw guests being seated at tables that had been claimed but not yet cleaned or only partially cleaned that had been given to other guests. Changing these two small things will make a great impact on service. 2 out of 3 beaches were open during my stay, however one is a private beach for residents only. The beach is rocky so bring water shoes. Views from the infinity edge pool are beautiful. The spa is large and the services were exceptional. Definitely enjoy a treatment or more during your stay. There are shops on property, however, I found the prices higher compared to other parts of Europe and in the US for the same items. A rental car will give you more options for exploring nearby beaches and going into the town of Bodrum. Alternatively, taxis can be prearranged. I would also suggest booking some boat time on the water. Overall, MO Bodrum is a beautiful property that provided a relaxing end to my 2 week trip around Turkey. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Exceptional Luxury resort on the Turkish Riviera

Superb, beyond luxurious resort; as fancy as it would get! Located in Paradise Bay - Overlooking the Aegean Sea. A fabulous property in a lush landscape, featuring a beautiful beach and impeccable service. I stayed twice in July and august and both have been fabulous. So nice touch they decorated our room with photos I shared from our first stay to welcome us when we arrived our second time. The property is beautiful on a hill overlooking the Aegean Sea. My first stay was in a sea view room and the second was in an apartment with sea view; both excellent but the apartment provides more convenience for a family with kids. Sea view room has a better view as it’s closer to the beach. The beach is a beautiful blue beach with white sands. The furniture was Louis Vuitton during our first stay then Alo. Service is very good. There are several entertaining water sports with very supportive staff. Several excellent restaurants; Roka is the best in my opinion, Gigi is excellent as well but ADULTS only, Hakkasan is very good (like it’s anywhere). Breakfast is signature for the place; has so many options and they’ll make you something else if you still desire an item they don’t have. Very warm and friendly staff. There are several luxurious shops (Louis Vuitton, Chanel and such). I didn’t shoo but didn’t think pricing was that different from their other stores. Lounge area is great to relax before or after dinner. Sheesha is one of the best I ever had, was so good to end my day every night. Idil our ambassador was beyond amazing. Pleasant, knowledgeable, so easy to work with and would go the extra mile to help (same day Gigu I reservation is all I need to say). Service is top notch overall, everyone is so pleasant and friendly. Incredible resort that luxury seekers should put on their pocket list!

This is the best ,excellent and luxurious resort in Bodrum….The private suites ,almost 1200-1500 SF are very modern and perfect for families…..the resort have its own beach…many restaurants…many designers shops like Channel..Hermes…Louis Vuitton and others….Expect to pay a very high price for rooms reservations and restaurants services…This resort is built to welcome the very wealthy guests who can afford it….

Luxury Hotel With Amazing Service

We had an incredible stay at Mandarin Oriental Bodrum. From the moment we arrived, Burak, our concierge, made us feel welcome and was always available whenever we needed anything, even on his day off! He truly went above and beyond throughout our stay. Our room had amazing views and was spacious and comfortable. The buggy service around the resort was incredibly fast, we never waited more than a couple of minutes, even though the property is very large. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at any hotel, and every restaurant we tried was excellent. I also loved having luxury boutiques like Louis Vuitton and Chanel within the resort. My older son tried the e-foil for the first time and learned it in just two lessons. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. My boys spent time at the kids club and really enjoyed it. Thank you to Burak and the entire team for making our family vacation so memorable. We hope to return again soon.
