Great hotel, wonderful staff

I've just returned from The Marelen Hotel after a weeks stay with my parents and sisters. The hotel was very clean and tidy, the rooms comfortable and cleaned daily, with plenty of towels, (pool towels picked up from the pool bar was a real bonus). The buffet breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and all very tasty. We also had the buffet dinner on a couple of nights which was equally good. The pool areas were all clean and tidy and there were plenty of sunbeds available. The cocktail bar with Nico was great for a pre/post dinner drink. All the staff from the people who cleaned the rooms, pool and surrounding areas, restaurant and bar staff and reception team, were all so friendly, kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for a stay in Kalamaki, Zante. Also for information the sandy beach is just a short walk away with clear water and is shallow for a good way out making it suitable for all ages and there's a good beach bar there too. The strip is also a short walk away with plenty of choices of restaurants and bars and the bus stop to take you to other resorts and Zante town is also very close.

Our 3rd visit to the hotel and as usual it was a great experience and enjoyed the week. Staff are always amazing and can't do enough to help. The rooms are very good and as you get safe and air-conditioning inclusive no hidden costs. The breakfast is the best ever, such an amazing choice and always tasty. Great location and for us its the number one choice.

Best trip yet to Kalamaki.

Third year in a row to Kalamaki. Decided on the Marelen Hotel this time, as we’d passed by it many times and it always looked fantastic and it was. Very relaxing, different pools depending on what suits. Apartment was excellent. All needs catered for. The staff couldn’t do anymore than they did. Special mention to Stavros and the team who we met every day for breakfast. It was getting close to the end of the season and people are tired but we were met with smiles, humour, positive energy and it felt very comfortable. Luli who works on the grounds was incredibly nice as well and we spent a couple of lovely evenings in his son’s bar (Speak Easy) on Kalamaki Main Street. Our previous visits were great but we wish we’d come to the Marelen before this trip. We would recommend going here in a heart beat. Lovely lovely people who make the difference 💙🤍💙👍

Perfect hotel for our needs.

This hotel is situated close to beach and short walk to restaurants. The breakfast was gorgeous with plenty of choice ,rooms cleaned to a high standard. The staff were polite and helpful and we had a fabulous time.
