Another Fantastic Stay at the Marelen 🌞

This was our second stay at the Marelen, and this time we brought our adult children and grandchild along. We absolutely love this hotel and are always sad to be going home. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the service is second to none. The rooms are immaculate, with towels and bins changed daily, and everything is kept spotless. We always stay B&B as we enjoy trying the many wonderful restaurants along the main strip. There’s plenty of choice for breakfast and the food is always delicious and plentiful. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, and the pool areas are clean and tidy, perfect for relaxing. The beach is just a 5 minute walk away, and the main strip is about 10 minutes on foot, making the location ideal. We’re already planning to book again for next year. We love Kalamaki, and we love the Hotel Marelen, it's truly amazing hotel.

We stayed here for a week at the end of September-October.we throughly enjoyed this holiday. We had bed and breakfast, breakfast was always great. The rooms are lovely and so is the pool area and all the grounds. The staff were amazing and friendly, and their wine is incredible!! 2 little cats who seem to stay around will always pop to say hello! Is very close to the Kalamaki Strip around 5/10walk. Can see flights coming and going from the hotel. Highly recommend getting a scooter to see all of the island (very good price. About 20euros a day) Highly recommend ‘ Pandesia’ restaurant on the strip. Definitely will be returning!

Fabulous hotel

When we arrived I knew my room was up one flight of stairs as they don’t do ground floor superior studios, a lovely porter Kleat took our suitcases and hand luggage up to our room and when he left the telephone rang to say they can give me a ground floor room the only difference was no kitchen which I wouldn’t of used anyway so the porter went and collected all our bags and brought them to our new room nothing was to much trouble he even popped to the shop for us to get milk and water, the rooms are so comfortable really good quality mattresses and pillows our room had a safe fridge and aircon at know Extra cost, Denia at the poop bar was always friendly and worked extremely hard The barman at the cocktail bar was very friendly and remembers what you drink, I would highly recommend this hotel staff are all so friendly and always helpful

Great hotel, wonderful staff

I've just returned from The Marelen Hotel after a weeks stay with my parents and sisters. The hotel was very clean and tidy, the rooms comfortable and cleaned daily, with plenty of towels, (pool towels picked up from the pool bar was a real bonus). The buffet breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and all very tasty. We also had the buffet dinner on a couple of nights which was equally good. The pool areas were all clean and tidy and there were plenty of sunbeds available. The cocktail bar with Nico was great for a pre/post dinner drink. All the staff from the people who cleaned the rooms, pool and surrounding areas, restaurant and bar staff and reception team, were all so friendly, kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for a stay in Kalamaki, Zante. Also for information the sandy beach is just a short walk away with clear water and is shallow for a good way out making it suitable for all ages and there's a good beach bar there too. The strip is also a short walk away with plenty of choices of restaurants and bars and the bus stop to take you to other resorts and Zante town is also very close.
