Marelen Hotel

A great hotel in a perfect location to explore Kalamaki. About 300 yards and a 10 minute walk up to the main strip of bars and restaurants. Facilities at the hotel are excellent and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned daily and the complex was spotless and well maintained. It has a lovely pool area with lots of sunbeds and chairs and a nice pool bar. We were bed and breakfast and the breakfast options were fantastic with anything you required. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for accomodation in this area.

This hotel is very friendly. On arrival, we had a very warm welcome and were given a glass of water each which was very much needed. The porter then kindly took our luggage to our room for us whilst also showing us the main areas at the hotel, so that we all knew where to go. The room was spacious enough for a family of four, with bunk beds for the children. The aircon was great and unlike other hotels, we were told to leave it on all day whilst we were out so that it would be nice and cool on our return. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis and our cleaner was fabulous (room 348). Cleanliness around the whole hotel was of a superb standard. There is plenty to choose from at breakfast time and the pool bar also serves good food! The main pool which is by the pool bar was of a good size. Sunbeds were mostly available - no reserved sunbeds before 9am and on most days, plenty to choose from. The splash park was great for the kids (and us parents when needing a break from the water). There is also an adult pool which my parents enjoyed throughout the holiday. I didn’t get to go often because of the children, but during the few times I did, it was lovely and peaceful. The beach was extremely close by and only took us around 5 minutes to walk there. Shops and restaurants on the strip are not too far away either. My husband and I have been going to Kalamaki for 16 years now, but this is our first stay in this hotel. We would definitely say that it’s the best we’ve stayed in. Customer service is great and really professional - nothing is too much trouble. All staff clearly work very hard to make the hotel what it is. We had an all round great time. Great Hotel with friendly and helpful staff! Highly recommended! Close to the beach, 2 minutes away. Definitely going back sometime, Perfect place to travel , won’t be disappointed Perfect Holiday!!
