This resort, like many in the area, is fantastic. The rooms are excellent, the location is ideal, and I genuinely have no complaints. Now let’s talk about the customer service — which, true to Balinese hospitality, is absolutely first-rate. And I can say that with confidence because I put it to the test. I accidentally checked out leaving my passport and around AUD $200 locked in the room safe. About an hour later, while I was already in Seminyak (roughly an hour away), I was contacted by the resort to alert me to my mistake. I messaged Mita, who had checked us in and out, to ask the best way to retrieve my belongings. She explained they usually use Grab for situations like this but didn’t feel comfortable trusting a passport to a courier. Instead, she arranged for a trusted friend to personally deliver everything directly to my new accommodation. Mita even recorded a video of my belongings being placed into an envelope for reassurance before handing it over. I offered for her to keep some of the cash as thanks, but she refused. When her friend arrived, I asked how much he would like for the delivery — he also refused. I insisted on paying them both, which he eventually accepted. The level of honesty, care, and effort shown — even after I had already checked out — was far beyond anything I expected. I couldn’t recommend this resort more highly. Faith in humanity restored.
