AVOID unless you find the sound of construction relaxing (and be aware many 5-star reviews are incentivised in exchange for free drinks). Constant construction noise from a massive project next door - running all day, every day. Even worse: loud parties from a nearby hut with huge speakers that echo through the valley. One night the music was so intense I could still hear it clearly over a movie with AirPods at max volume. These issues are beyond the resort’s control (as they’ll repeatedly point out), but that doesn’t mean you should have to accept a ruined holiday when better options exist. The resort is a 20 minute drive from anywhere civilized, up a tough, winding road - leaving you feeling trapped. This might be ok if it were truly relaxing, but it’s not. Food is overly obsessed with truffle. Portions are decent for mains, but juices are tiny and coffees half-filled. I’m usually positive and avoid complaining, but this pushed me over the edge. I wouldn’t have stayed another night even if they offered it for free. Staff don’t seem to care about the lack of relaxation you paid for. Views are nice, but not worth the trade-offs. My family and I won’t return - learn from our experience and choose elsewhere.
