Horrible stay, right from start, staff on the front desk were very miserable, when they were actually there, we changed some money over at the front desk, then every time we tried again they said we don’t have anymore. The fridge wasn’t working so I went to let them know at the reception where I was informed it’s £3 per night for the cable to connect it, on top of the £3 a day for the safe. The shower sprayed more water out from the fitting than the actual shower head itself, the large mirror above the sink was heavily corroded all a long the bottom to about 4”up, we came back to the room one day to be greated by water pouring out of the tap fitting all over the countertop and spilling onto the floor the towels were all frayed and the bedding off white. And the breakfast, well I think I’ve said enough already

Don't let reviews put you off.....we have stayed 10 nights......staff are pleasant and helpful......rooms cleaned everyday with clean towels.....nice pool with good comfy sunbeds.... Great location but not noisy......would definitely book again

Do not let the reviews put you off. My 1st time in ole deniz my mums 7th. She has stayed in the more expensive hotels but loved this one the most. Staff are helpful, breakfast is good. Pool so clean and the room's whilst basic are very clean and spacious. Clean towels every day. We left 22nd wanted to go back by the 23rd. Will definitely be booking this hotel again. The location is perfect.

2nd time staying at the Mavruka, and would stay again. Location fab, just off the strip, not too noisy at night through, rooms plenty big enough for the two of us, bathroom spacious too . Room cleaned everyday, towels changed regularly. Pool area very clean & well looked after. Breakfast typical Turkish with the addition of fresh cooked omelettes or fried eggs on request. Only thing I would change is having walk in steps into the pool, especially for non swimmers (not myself , I made good use of the pool) who might like to dip their feet in the pool !!

we booked this as a last minute holiday we had read the reviews and decided we would give it a whirl as it wasn't expensive and every ones opinion is different there was good points and bad points ill give the good points first gentleman on reception was pleasant that showed us to our room, room was good size plenty of storage space we had a side view of the pool second floor if your less mobile then you would struggle getting around i had seen photos of the showers with mould around the edges but i can see the floor in our shower was a different colour tile so it had been renewed there was air con which was a god send as it was boiling had to turn it off middle of the night as it went freezing there was shower gel and shampoo in the shower and a hair dryer the cleaner was working hard changed towels regularly the pool was really good plenty of beds and the pool staff and chef were really friendly even though i read reviews of the staff being rude but never witnessed anything the bad points may be petty but i thought it should be said when we booked it it said about room amenities ie fridge and safe well you have to pay extra on top for the privilege and as you walk in there is a sign that says you can not bring in food and drink from out side which is much cheaper than the hotels water and cans so what's the point of hiring a fridge ? the bed had no sheet on to cover you up we had to ask for a top sheet cos it went cold in the night the breakfast was terrible to much to list the only good thing was the chefs omelettes if you don't eat or like eggs your stuffed the toast was just scraps of tiny pieces of bread no square bread the chef was good and he can only work with what he's provided the fresh orange was powdered and disgusting my biggest complain was being able to have glasses around and in the pool i saw a few times glasses being smashed and there was small children running around but overall it was pleasant only a stones throw from the beach
