Official Description

Mayan Mittoz is located on the island of Holbox, in the Quintana Roo region. We are located in front of the Holbox pier, 500 meters from the center, 750 meters from the beach and 2.2 km from Punta Coco and Punta Mosquitoes. We have a pool, garden and family rooms. Each of our rooms have air conditioning, cable TV, private bathroom and toiletries.

Cute place for a short stay

This is a very cute, basic hotel right across the street from the ferry. Not sure why people are complaining about the WiFi… they must be millennials:/ The WiFi works perfectly fine and actually the fastest on the whole island. I also saw that people complained about the lack of water or hot water… this is fine also. You need to let the tap run for about 5min before you get hot water, but it does work. The “town Main Street” is right around the corner.. not even a 5/10 min walk ( depending where you want to go… beach is just down the road 10 min walk. If you just want something easy and laid back away from the noise this is the place! And Ale at reception is the best!!!

Decent hotel for Holbox

Location of this hotel is very good. Right next to the port, and you'll easily walk to the other side of the island where most of the bars and restaurants are. About 10 minutes. The room wasn't perfect and there were some things not working properly. However, when we mentioned this the Staff was really friendly, treated us with respect, understood the inconvenience and offered a good solution.
