I did write a previous review about this hotel but the owners totally misinterpreted what I'd said and put words into my 'mouth', in their reply. So I deleted it and decided to do a Pros and Cons review. PROS A clean hotel with nice sized suites. Welcoming receptionist, who was accommodating in allocating us a nicer suite, when we were disappointed with the first suite we were allocated. Excellent location, positioned on the corner of the old road and new road. Walking distance to some really nice restaurants and you will be thankful for that. Uranus their rooftop Restaurant, is nice. The menu is small but the food is very good. This restaurant isn't included in the half board price. The buffet breakfast has an ample choice of cereal, fruits, pastries, hot (more warm than hot) options and omelettes made to order. CONS The evening food in the main buffet restaurant is very hit & miss, but mostly miss. I know, the hotel is going to come back at me, saying hundreds of guests rave about their buffet and that's great for those guests who think that. Personally, I was extremely disappointed. It's very basic with poor variety. The hot food is luke warm at best. We paid half board, which we really regretted from our first evening, as the food options were very disappointing. I ventured into see what the options were on our second night and it wasn't very appealing at all. So from then on, we ate out. I would definitely say book B&B! The sun loungers around the pool are very close together, in fact, touching distance to the person (stranger) next to you. Some guests may like being so close, personally I don't. The loud music at breakfast is a bit much! Our first morning with had Elvis songs. I love Elvis but not at breakfast time. The 2nd morning, it was country music. I expected serene in the mornings, like at other boutique spa hotels I've been to. I'm sure the hotel will respond saying all their guests love the music choices at breakfast. Not this guest. The Greek tourist board apparently gives this hotel 5*. I cannot understand why? I've been to many 3*/4*/5* hotels, some being small, quaint, boutique spa hotels and in my honest opinion, this is 3* quality.
