This was our first family holiday to Bali, and even though we hit the raining season with non-stop rain outside, the warmth we felt at Mercure Bali Legian was amazing. The moment we stepped in, the friendly smiles from every staff member made us feel right at home. The family room was well-equipped and comfortable for us and the kids. My only tiny gripe is that the room lighting is quite dim—it’s great for relaxing but a bit hard to find things in your suitcase! That said, the pool was the real winner. Even with the rain, my kids spent 3-4 hours there every day. That alone made the whole trip worth it! There’s a money changer right across the street, but honestly, we found that most places now accept cards. My Wise card was a lifesaver—super convenient with excellent exchange rate! 【HIGHLY Recommend】 There are plenty of massage shops nearby, but the hotel spa is on another level. It’s only about $5-$8 AUD more than the outside shops, but the professionalism and pressure are incomparable. Special shoutout to 【Ayu】! She is incredibly meticulous and skilled in everything from massages to beauty and nails. Her English is also excellent, making the whole experience seamless. The hotel restaurant is quite decent with a good variety of meals, including kid-friendly options which made my life much easier. The rain ruined some of our outdoor plans, but the stay here was so pleasant that we’ve already booked our next trip! I’m heading back tonight to "move some bricks" (back to work!) to save up for our return. Can't wait to be back! 🥰
