A comfortable hotel that offers great value for money!

My wife and I have visited this hotel in eight of the last ten years ( not during Covid). We usually stay for two weeks and can say that each time our rooms have been cleaned to the highest standard. Furthermore, the beds are so comfortable and we have always slept well as the walls are well insulated for sound from neighbouring rooms. The evening entertainment usually commenced at 21:30 hours and was scheduled to finish at 22:30 although this can extend up to a further 15 minutes by popular demand, but no later. The quality of the acts is usually high with some acts being more to our liking than others, as you might expect. If you want a more pleasing view from your room, I’d advise paying the surcharge for a room at the front of the hotel. We have always stayed half board and when it comes to the selection of food, there has never been a problem either at breakfast or dinner, even for my wife who is vegetarian. The pool area is kept meticulously clean and manned by a lifeguard throughout the day. There are toilets opposite the gym room which is located ten feet from the poolside. The equipment in the gym room was enhanced last year which was a welcome improvement. The hotel had the benefit of a refurbishment a couple of years back following the acquisition by Minura. ✅ We have always found the drinks at the hotel to be reasonably priced and the camareros to be good fun. In life, it is often the people that provide lasting memories and we have always found the staff throughout the hotel to be good to talk to and more than helpful (especialmente mi amigo Oscar en el restaurante 👏). This hotel provides good value for money and should I return there in the future, I’m sure I’ll have a great time, once again. For me and my wife, we love it there! Thank you!!

★★★☆☆ Mixed Experience – Improvements Made, But Still Not Ideal Revised review as my last was left with complete sleep deprivation! I don’t usually leave reviews, but our stay here was so mixed that I felt it was worth sharing. First impressions were disappointing for the price paid for a solo occupancy basis. The walls are extremely thin — you can hear everything and I mean everything from nearby rooms and corridors, and the nightly entertainment goes on until midnight, you can hear word for word which made sleep extremely difficult, however I’ve managed to purchase some earplugs which helps. The room wasn’t properly cleaned when i arrived on the first day found dirty cups and glasses in the bathroom and 1 hand towel appeared used even though the bed was made. However, housekeeping improved the following day and I had clean glasses, cups and a new hand towel no issues since. The room has some modern design elements and useful features like a plug socket by the mirror, and in the bathroom. The view was also a letdown — just a rock wall right outside the window very small outdoor balcony. Breakfast has improved since arrival. some nice continental options, with soft, fresh croissants being a highlight. Which go fast However, the evening meals at the start were a major low point — limited choices and poor quality. Leading to paying to eat out in the evening roughly 30 to 40 euros each a night extra on top of paying 1400 for the week for one person. Things did get better later in the week with a bit more variety, and Wednesday being the best selection so far; though drinks (even soft ones) aren’t included with dinner, which feels very stingy for a 4 star half-board hotel. Children’s entertainment wasn’t available the first few nights, even though advertised. we where told by reception it wasn’t on due to not enough children present, we saw quite a few children at the hotel it was one of the reasons the hotel had been booked which was disappointing, but once it started, it was enjoyable. The entertainers were great, and the kids enjoyed there 30mins even received certificates eventually. (On the first day of the children’s mini disco we had tears as was the only child who wasn’t given a certificate) The hotel pool is a decent size and has a separate toddler/young child pool which is one of the better features of the hotel, but the lack of poolside toilets is inconvenient. We ended up spending a lot of time at a nearby place called Tobogán, which was much better overall (note: closed on Mondays). Amazing food and drink there! The lovely beach is walkable and that’s a plus, Taxis to Ciutadella cost €35 each way, which adds up quickly. In summary, while the stay improved over time, and I loved the area I still wouldn’t return to this hotel. This hotel may suit an older crowd, but for families or younger guests, it misses the mark.

Best value for money experience!!

The best thing about this hotel is its value for money. Yes, there are things that could be better but not at this price. Efficient friendly staff and clean hotel. Buffet restaurant pretty much the same everyday but at £35 for the half board option for a week, who can complain. Location in a beautiful resort is excellent.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful part of Menorca. The food was excellent. I never usually find any food I like in the hotel restaurant on a holiday and usually end up eating out. However much to my wife's suprise I ate every day as there was always a good selection of nice well cooked food. The staff are amazing and genuinely make you feel that nothing is too much trouble. Clean and well presented and two lovely pools. I will return to this hotel I enjoyed my stay that much. Highly recommended

An exceptional hotel with high commitment from staff to guests needs. Perfect location with the beach being a 5 minute walk away. Excellent choice of food with a varied selection of local food and brittish cuisine. Modern well maintained rooms which were cleaned regularly to a high standard. Noisy AC but tolerable. 3 supermarkets all located within a 10 minute walk from the hotel, over priced but convenient. Great atmosphere with no disgruntled guests that we noticed. We would recommend and stay again.
