First class hotel and holiday!

A fantastic hotel/holiday, where nothing is left to chance! Every detail is carefully managed, from dining, to cleaning to entertainment. The hotel and its grounds are impeccably clean (even the beach path was swept) The multiple pools, private beach, gym, spa and daily activities/entertainment were first class! The staff, too numerous to mention everyone, but I must say many thanks to Savos (in the main restaurant) were all very friendly, incredibly hardworking, attentive and very professional throughout. There was a huge variety of food and drink that catered for everyone’s taste and needs. From the main resteraunt that offered themed menus and a vast selection of hot & cold freshly cooked meals across 5 separate meal times (up to 4am) to the 6 À la carte restaurants, afternoon fresh wood-fired pizza slices and the creperie, that seemed to be open all day and night! We would highly recommend for families and couples and look forward to returning.

I will try to be as fair as I can regarding this resort. We were initially booked into room 62 , for those that don’t know this balcony partially over looks a small pool. BUT the main view is the loading bay and staff entrance ,rest area. So we could not have the blinds open at all . As there was always a member of staff on a break who could see us. After a day we were moved to room 113 this is better and looks over the loading bay road. We were also given a complimentary 2 hour stay on the spa garden. The food is buffet style. On 3 occasions when we went down at 19.30 three of the four dishes were empty. O spoke to the chef who was still cooking items. There was a Que of around 10-15 people so I left and the only meal o had was a piece of fish that evening. We again spoke to guest relations and after that the food was mainly available. There is a sign stating you cannot reserve dinners however this is not unforced. We saw subbed with towels on them from 07.00 until 16.00 when people the came to them. During that time there were a number of people walking around looking but unable to find beds.I did point this out to the guests but o do t think k that it should fall to me on my holiday. One of my party got up at 05.45 to take pictures of the sunrise. She said the the poolside beds were taken even then !!!. It does state that there are adult pools however every pool we went to had children in. Is was not a massive problem but why state there are adult pools when clearly there are not. There are additional pools but they were extra to sit around. The corridors can be noisy at times . The rooms are individual beds which can also be a bind if you are married etc. You cannot put toilet paper down the toilets in the public toilet areas. At times the staff were talking more to each other than obtaining drinks . The cocktails that are served in the day are also no longer available on the evenings. The entertainment is fair with the last three acts all coming from south afrika. Stating that they travelled for the show.this I highly doubt as well I have stayed on both 5 star hotels and lower . I also work in a 5 star hotel and this is definitely not it I would say a three is on average.
