Not as luxurious as you expect

We are currently staying here as a family of four, two kids under 10. Our first time to a Mitsis hotel and we won’t be back sadly. The hotel is very large, lots of pools but not enough of the newer sunbeds that get taken very early on. Rooms are dated, spacious in a family suite but soulless. A lot of empty space. Biggest disappointment is the food here, we have stayed in a smaller 4 star in Kos and the food was fabulous. But here is it feels very bland, not a lot of Greek specialty meals, catered more German than English. Breakfast was poor, pastries terrible. Fish in the main buffet was chewy and over cooked. Drinks are non label and watered down. The wines are tasteless and the Prosecco is cava at best. We expected more from such a large brand hotel. Food and drink is more a convenience than a luxury here. It’s also busy, you queue for pretty much everything. Shame as the beach is lovely just over crowded. Also the aircon in the rooms is dated and very noisy

Without doubt one of the best places we have stayed in. We have visited Greece for many years. The thing that makes the difference is their attention to detail and the fact that nothing is too much trouble. A truly amazing stay 5 stars is not reflected in the service provided but with Mitsis, that is exactly what you get. All of restaurants have amazing food. The main restaurant had proper chips not French fries. My personal favourite restaurant was the fish restaurant. Breakfast on the beach restaurants was so relaxing. Definitely worth trying.

Outstanding visit as always the staff at the mitsis norida are the best from Mikka who is one of the nices people you could meet she really help make are stay amazing my wife has been unwell and we booked a last minute 10 day break.seeing a lot of faces from over the 20 years katerina , costas petros, Ellie and Yannis from the pool bar also George and his team from the theamed restaurants are all amazing sorry I can't name you all and don't forget the hotel manager always takes time to speak to the guests and made sure we were ok and if we needed anything just ask which was amazing even to the point one night we got a phone call from reception to ask if my wife was ok and did we need anything after are visit to the doctors which in my book is very thoughtful hopefully after we get some results we can come back later this year or next May so a massive thank you to all the staff for making our holiday memories with you all again Paul & Tracey

Great girls trip !

This hotel was genuinely great, firstly the pool area is immaculate and so aesthetic and nice every day was so relaxing and there’s a lot of choices you can always find a sunbed around one of the pools, the domes or on the beach. The staff are so good here, pedro is a top guy along with panos In the casa bar and Alex the entertainment guy, they are so friendly and kind. The food was varied, breakfast was really nice with plenty of choice and really fresh. The lunch was average, it was okay in the main restaurant, they do lunch also in the à la carte restaurant and it’s a bit nicer in there. They do also have choices for gyros on the beach and a pizza bar so it is varied and it was good. The dinner in the main restaurant again was average but there was plenty of choices. The à la carte restaurants were spotless and in a really nice setting, the Smokey grill was nice, it wasn’t nothing amazing, the Asian restaurant is terrible the food is really bad here it definitely needs improvement! And the fish restaurant is absolutely stunning ! It was so fresh and proper mitsis standards. The hotel is clean, the drinks are good in all of the bars and it’s quite a sociable place. I do think the entertainment on an evening could be a bit better, and there is also a disco bar up the hill. I think it would be good for the hotel to advertise this place a little it’s not part of the hotel but it would be good to get more people in there on an evening especially as entertainment finishes at 11. Great holiday and I recommend, it’s good for families, girl groups and couples and there was a mix of all of that here.

Stunning hotel!

I genuinely cannot express enough how good this hotel was. The drinks, the pools, the beach. Everything was perfect and for such a reasonable price. I have never stayed at an all inclusive where you get 24/7 food and drinks, the unlimited pizza and gyros was exceptional. The creperiè was delicious. The alacatè restaurants were delicious and the hotel ensured we got booked into each. The bars and the variety of drinks were lovely, the staff knew our orders. There is no added extras to pay for which I was surprised at, such as the included pedalows to go into the sea. I stayed for 5 nights with 3 friends in a maisonette room and it was amazing, however this is also such a lovely family hotel too. They really pull out all of the stops, refilling the free mini bar in your room daily too. I did not want to leave! Shout out to Maria at guest services who helped us multiple times and booked us transfers into Kardamaina town etc, she was lovely. Bus was €2 into the town and was rarely busy. I would love to stay at this hotel again, and I have never visited the same hotel twice!
