Mitsis Petit Palais Beach Hotel

Really good! Thank you. People outside can be really noisy tho, but that’s not the problem of the hotel. Thank you, definitely will come back.

We have stayed at this hotel since 2010 - 11 visits and this year was our 12th visit. Yet again this year we found the staff to be the greatest asset of the hotel. Each and every member from porter to Restaurant hostess are the most friendliest and helpful staff we have come across in our travels. Firstly the bedroom was spacious and well set out , bed linen changed every other day or on demand.The bathroom albeit a little tired and in need of refurbishment was clean and fresh quality towels provided each day. Toiletries were also provided shower wash shampoo conditioner and body lotion . However the bathroom did not have a non slip bath mat and we resorted to using a towel on the floor of the bath to prevent slipping. The mini bar was well stocked and replenished on a daily basis with water and beers and soft drinks. The two ladies (sorry didn’t get their names)who cleaned our rooms were thorough and so nice nothing was too much trouble.. The view from the balcony was obstructed because of the ongoing building work across the road but it did not bother us at all and to be honest there was very little noise. The food in the restaurant in our opinion at evening dinner was no where near as good as in previous years. The choice for us was poor . Breakfast and lunch were much better. We did not go to the pool but used the private beach only a few minutes across the road. Yiannis the beach supervisor does an amazing job under very difficult circumstances at times. He catered for our particular needs and I can’t thank him enough well done Yiannis👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Next the bar. Drinks were good and always served with a smile. The bar manager Alex does a great job and sets a great example to his staff. A special mention must go to Alban,Julia and Con who served the bar all were so friendly and just so nice to talk to. The restaurant was bright and welcoming. Zara welcomed us most times and she remembered us from previous visits. She was just lovely always smiling and helpful . A special mention must be made of the waiting staff who again were always smiling and asking how your day was. Fabiola,Maria,Lauren,Christine ,Antonios, Mike and Apostolis not to forget Irene who was always delivering treats to our room. Reception staff too many to mention individually were very helpful and a special mention to Aldo the porter and go to person for everything and anything. Thank you Margarita the Reservations manager for allocating a lovely room as an upgrade. Now to the evening entertainment. It really was very good and the pool bar has been repositioned since our last visit and the area is so much more welcoming. But what spoiled the evening entertainment was the unruly children who ran riot continuously at the feet of the entertainers doing somersaults and playing ball.Shame on the parents who allowed this to happen. They ignored pleas from the bar manager and the entertainers themselves. Will we be back ? Yes most definitely .

Will definitely NOT be back! This is an old hotel, no wonder Mitsis is building a massive complex over the road ! The staff and food were really very good, but the bar area and patio is very dated overlooked the building work. The pool area was very small not easy on the eye. The garden view room we booked could not be found as there are no gardens! Thankfully we only booked for 2 nights and only there 36hours. If we had booked for a week we would have left. We have stayed in Mitsis hotels before and found them excellent, which why we chose this hotel- sadly we made the wrong decision.
