Mitsis Petit Palais Beach Hotel

Everything was perfect, food was amazing, stuff at the reception and everywhere was very helpful. We had our dinner there and the food was great!! We will visit again next year! Much love!!

Me and my girlfriend decided to spend our 6 year anniversary at the Mitsis Petit Palais in Rhodes, the hotel is not a huge resort by any means which some people seemed to be upset about. However the location, the beach and the services within the hotel were perfect for a holiday where you can explore the surrounding area and island with rich history and many activites as you are close to many transport links. Alternatively you can hang on the beach which is a stones throw from the hotel entrance where there is someone overlooking the sunbeds and a lovely clear, calm ocean to swim and relax in. We are both coeliacs (intolerant to gluten) so cannot risk accidentally consuming it as we both get very sick. The entire team behind the kitchen made excellent, tasty and varying types of food and the head chef came out with no problem every time we ate to show us what we could eat, which I understand can be quite grating a few times a day so it is really appriciated. All the staff that worked on the customer facing end were so nice, talkative and welcoming; making us feel so happy to be there and go down to see them every day. I'd highly recommend this hotel to others and I would 100% come back when I come to Rhodes. Overall, a giant thumbs up, hands together and thank you for the entire team at Mitsis Petit Palais in Rhodes during October the 11th until the October the 18th 2025, would highly recommend to all.

We booked an 7 day all inclusive holiday from 11th to 18th October in a family “suite”. Here is a view points: Hotel location: It is great, old town an easy 15 minute walk with the beach even closer and many options for dinner. Hotel reception and welcome: Very friendly staff who gave us a warm welcome, reception had an older feel but still sophisticated. Room - we booked a family “suite” - No 126 We would have liked a standard suite but had none available, so went for the higher price family “suite”. Please be aware, this room is not a suite, it has no window or naturally light in the master room. There is a further room that has twin beds, smallest room and the view is of air conditions units. Defiantly not a suite and felt more like prison that lets you get occasional visits for natural light. The room was very tired and in need of an update, like stepping back in time. The hair dryer is very poor (bring your own if one is needed daily) with my wife often having to head out with half wet hair. It is very noisy from 6:30 with, your window of piece is from 11:30 to 6:30, if missed, you will hear everything! All Inclusive, food, pool and bar: Solid enough, okay selection of drinks and food, again, service is very good. Breakfast options had a good selection and all seemed fresh. Dinner rotations are daily with the different themes you would expect however we didn’t eat too often in the hotel, only 2 lunches, breakfast everyday and one dinner. Pool is okay, as always, if you want a seat show up early, it not the biggest or most comfy sun lounges, try and bring a cushion if staying most of the day. In summary - hotel is in very good location for those that like to explore Rhodes town (old and new). Staff very friendly, food and drink is okay and rooms are poor. We would not stay here again and if we are honest, this impacted our holiday although Rhodes itself is very much a destination we would return too. Mitsis has a number of hotels, we wouldn’t dismiss them due to the service but would have to be exceptional for us to consider using this chain again. All above was shared at check out so shouldn’t be a shock.

We spent a week here (not all inclusive). The hotel exceeded our expectations. Wonderful staff, a lovely clean and comfortable room with air conditioning, a good sized fridge and tea making facilities. The breakfast was super and had everything you could possibly want and tasted amazing, with special thanks to Maria and Antonis for their great service and the lovely girl making omelettes (not sure of her name). The building work opposite did not bother us at all and we can't wait to see the finished hotel. We were really impressed overall and would certainly recommend it.

We were at the hotel on a half board basis and are first timers to Rhodes Town and this hotel. There seems to be a lot of returners to this establishment who have been going for years. I found the staff to be outstanding and go above and beyond to be kind and welcoming to us. At first when arrived I was disappointed in our room as it was facing a building site being developed by the Mitsis chain. But the following day the issue was resolved and a change of room offered and it was very much appreciated and lovely, overlooking the pool. I must mention that there are building works in the vicinity and you can hear noise therefore if you wish to have peace in and around and on the beach, you will not find it at the moment. I also would like to suggest that this hotel should be for Adults only. There is literally nothing for children to do at the hotel. The pool is very small with limited beds already which are usually all taken by 9.00am we found 2 Sunbed just once in the whole week. The lovely jacuzzi pool there is often occupied with children. The pool area also occupied with pushchairs which limits too much space. The bar staff and dining room staff are very friendly, I would make a point that if you are half board (there is all inclusive also offered) that drinks I found to be a little on the high side with a small beer €4 to be excessive. The food I found to be very good here with lots of choice. The hotel offers sun beds at the beach and pool towels can be taken from hotel which was such a bonus as we couldn’t on most days get a Sunbed at the pool. Again I am honest in the fact that the beach sunbeds are opposite the building site and you will hear significant noice and not a pretty site to look at, at present. On the whole I had a lovely time at the hotel, but some areas in need of improvement for me.
