Excellent staff at this resort.

We loved it here, despite it being the very beginning of the season and work going on in the beach area and despite it having some new staff not fully trained. Some of the rooms were a bit rough around the edges in that they are about due for a refit but the rooms and balconies/ terraces are a decent size and comfortable. Our shower was over the bath which is not my preference but the water pressure was very good and the water was always hot. Clean towels were supplied in abundance and our sheets were changed daily. The fridge was refilled with soft drinks, water, white wine and beer daily ( the hotel's blurb promises to do this every other day.) The balcony has a pull out drier for swimwear which was useful and a table and chairs. We weren't unduly bothered by noise and despite the usual towels on loungers we always found somewhere by one of the pools. The main buffet restaurant had a good and plentiful choice of food and although we arrived in the early hours of the morning, there was still hot food available. Equally, the bar had a good choice of cocktails and branded drinks. Mitsis provided us with complimentary cake and fizz both for an anniversary and a birthday. You are also able to use the all inclusive facilities up until the time you leave for the airport although room checkout is midday unless you pay 45 euros to extend until 18:00. The hotel is right next to the beach and their beach area was been refurbished whilst we were there. Disadvantages: there are lots of steps and although there are ramps alongside, they are very steep. I use a stick and I managed but the disabled provision could be better. Having said which, if you ask for help getting to the beach or the Greek restaurant near the beach, there is a buggy service available. The stars of this hotel are the staff who are polite, friendly and cannot do enough for you in order to make your holiday a happy one. I would have no hesitation in returning to a Mitsis hotel.

Just wanted to throw out a great review for Ewelina and Alex alongside the the team of animators at the Mitsis resort here in kiropiri Rhodes Greece, we’ve all had the pleasure to enjoy the fun games and fun animations they provided, made our bellies laugh until sore and made this week one to remember! Thank you so much! Will be coming back next year for sure! Best memeory winning at table tennis finally, loved the Greek night and the music quiz nights the most!

Not a vegetarian

The A la carte was good but the main restaurant was Bad they catered mainly for vegetarians. Lasagne (only vegetarian) Moussaka (only vegetarian) etc.,... and plenty of fish. The queues for the bar were enormous and we went in early May. No pizza restaurant/bar on beach. No boccia. Nothing set up for early May. Not a 5 star hotel 3 at best.

Few days break with daughter

The hotel was lovely our room was upgraded however I’m not sure whether this was a good thing as it was our first visit! Also there were sparrows nesting in the roof very noisy!!!! But not to moan about I’m just mentioning it! Not good if you’re not keen on birds There were wooden stairs going up to a mezzanine it was lovely and spacious There was never enough coffee 2 sachets of caffeinated The stairs could do with a paint and a clean. I shared a bed with my daughter it was very comfortable (after asking for a twin). The downside for me personally was the beach it had wooden gates left, the wooden walkway was dangerous, the cushions were outdated, the beach was terribly stoned and rocky. Beach shoes required We ended up walking to another beach past the princess hotel to a much better area . We booked for a meal at the second restaurant I chose falafel which was in fact potato in a brioche with soggy rocket it was cold. My daughter s meal was also cold . The food in the main restaurant was lovely all the staff were very kind and friendly. Oh and no pizza!! Iced coffee was lovely pancakes had an aftertaste. Would I return no due to the beach
