This is a magnificent resort, a unique masterpiece of architecture. The hotel has borrowed many features from the ancient town of Rhodes and really stands out with its impressive colour combinations. Wealth, space and elegance are the predominant elements here. Guests become enchanted by the setting, the colours and the collection of wall paintings. The accommodation units are carefully appointed and offer all the comforts of a resort. All guest rooms feature individually regulated air-conditioning and heating and an en-suite bathroom. Perfect service, amazing stay, unforgettable.

This year, we stayed at Mitsis resorts three times – in June and again in October at Mitsis Rhodos Village – and once again, we had an amazing holiday. Upon arrival, the receptionist welcomed us and invited us to breakfast while checking if our room was ready. Our room with a private pool was perfect – many thanks to the entire management, Emanuela, and Andreas. At the bar, Zeta, Kristoffer, and Eugenio with colleagues made us feel very welcome. Thanks also to the room service and Mrs. Tsampika for excellent cleaning. We also loved Klaudia’s fantastic program at the amphitheater – the evenings were unforgettable. The staff made our stay truly enjoyable, and we look forward to returning in 2026!

Mitsis rodos village I’ve just spend 7 nights here with my partner. We booked this holiday after seeing good picture and reviews of this hotel and area. The hotel was super clean and tidy with lovely staff all round. Hotel decor is very sleek and stylish. We stayed in the main part of the hotel with a sea view. Balcony with plenty of space to sit out there along with a rack to dry towels and swimwear. Rooms are cleaned daily and the mini fridge is stocked every other day which is a great bonus. Shower was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. Water pressure was great also. The hotel had 3 pools with more than enough sun beds. There was no rush at 7am to get your lounger for the day. Some days we didn’t get down to the pool till noon and still enough beds left in the sunshine. Food options were good all round with the extra al a cart restaurants. I had booked some of those before we arrived. The Italian and Mexican was amazing with good food full of flavour. We tried the brunch one - not as great nothing really exciting for us. We also tried the burger Al a cart for lunch and this was great too! The main restaurant is pretty much open all day. Breakfast had a good range of hot and cold options. Lunch time buffet and dinner buffets would have a set theme. This was nice to try diffrent things. The only complaint I have is that the food options were limited. Good was good with flavour and a range of options but it was really only 8-12 dishes per night. There was always an option for cooked meat or fish with fresh chips. And we saw spaghetti bolognese every night so atleast that was an option. Our main option for lunch time was the Slouvaki bar but the pool by the main hotel. There’s many options and you can take things out to make it your own. The poolside bar has the crepe station and ice cream. This is opening from morning until late at night 23:30! This was a nice addition and crepes were delicious. Evening entertainment was brilliant with lovely team organising it all, The hotel overall was amazing and we really had the best time. I would recommend this hotel to others. Just be aware of the sometimes limited options at the main buffet and book the Al a cart restaurants before you head out there, those slots going quickly!!

Unlucky or undermanaged?

We may have just been unlucky but for us it just kept going wrong and we felt very let down. We have just returned from our stay and unfortunately we probably would not return. On arrival, our room was only made up for two people even though we had booked for four. The room itself was fine but quite tired looking and some mould in the bathroom. The balcony faced directly onto others which felt very intrusive and we didn’t use because of this and kept curtains closed. Our air conditioning stopped working at one point and after four requests, maintenance eventually came. We were told it would not work because the sliding door was not locked, as it works on a sensor. This had never been explained to us. All that was asked was if our door was open which we had said no. Maintenance obviously complained to reception that they hadn’t told us about the door and the male receptionist phoned me and was extremely rude - pretty much having a go at me saying he had told me to close the door. I found this very unnecessary and upsetting. We also had the frightening experience of another family being mistakenly checked into our room in the middle of the first night. We woke up to the lights being turned on and two very young girls standing there and a man looking very confused. Reception apologised but it really should not have happened. Service overall was very poor. At breakfast, the self serve tea and coffee stations had long queues and there was no consistent waiter service for drinks anywhere in the hotel, only once around the pool did we get offered. A broken table in the courtyard caused an espresso martini to spill all over me, with a small apology but no offer to help or free laundry service. Later, my daughter had a full glass of Coke knocked over her by a waiter in the Tex Mex restaurant, again with no offer of assistance and no replacement drink until we asked. We stayed at Laguna in Crete last year and absolutely loved it. The staff there were attentive, friendly, and everything ran smoothly. Sadly, Rodos Village feels the complete opposite. It is understaffed, lacks management and personality, and is nowhere near five star quality. Even the sunbeds were uncomfortable and difficult to relax on especially at the beach. The entertainment staff were lovely and really tried their best, but the evening shows were average and the concrete seating made it hard to enjoy. We did enjoy the buffet food, there was a great selection and alternative choices each night but the restaurants were not great although we did enjoy the Greek. Overall, it is such a shame. This hotel has potential, but it needs major improvements in management, service, and hospitality before we would consider returning. We also did not receive our Author storyteller leaving gift on departure. I am a travel agent and would not recommend this to my clients.
