Great location with the beach only across the road. The staff were so lovely, especially José in the restaurant, he couldn't do more for us, thank you. Rooms were a bit dated and extremely thin walls which disturbed our sleep. But otherwise a really good hotel and food was fabulous.

We have been going to this hotel for over 10 years,and our last. The hotel is very dated, and i have seen no evidence of any modernising. The tv is like a postage stamp flat screen tv. The hotel is clean in house staff do a fantastic job. The pool area is clean, except they do not empty the bins regularly, plastic cups over flowing, not ideal in the hot weather, attracts wasps flys. Breakfasts: are not the best bacon bearly cooked raw sausages on more than 2 occasions, warm milk for your cereal 🤮🤮 Dinner: Luckily, the dinner is a lot better than the breakfast always find something to eat Soups are not so good watery and tasteless Tea: same as dinner always find d something to eat Over view: Most of the staff are nice and friendly, however In the restaurant is another story, staff not so friendly, we did notice there was a new waiter only a young lad, he was doing his best to keep on top of the tables, the manager obviously wasn't impressed he went up to him and started shouting pointing at tables the poor lad you could see he was nervous and in doing that didn't help the situation, poor lad, we felt so sorry for him. Before we left, i told him he was doing a fantastic job and didn't be bullied by the manager. Entertainment: is just the same bog standard you get in most hotels. The hotel is manly Spanish guests, some are friendly, majority are rude, pushing you out of the way while queuing for you food ,snarl at you if you won't move out the way.

We have just had a fantastic week the the FPH. The hotel is in a fantastic position for the train station and promenade etc.Yes the rooms are dated but pristine and it looks like they are being renovated .The food was fantastic with something for everyone. We were given the choice of a double room or twin upon arrival as they did not want to presume anything with our booking being for 2 male's, something as a same sex couple we have never had before so thank you. Our only niggles were we requested a room away from lifts ( via their email) but both rooms were close to lifts but in the end it was OK as we were next to a scenic lift so was much quieter.The only other thing is that the amount of food being stolen daily from breakfast for peoples lunch who are HB only is unbelievable! We witnessed a woman fetch plastic bags and literally fill them with food - this is really unfair to other guests and the hotel .One last suggestion would be to provide a outdoor seating area that is no smoking??? Overall this is a gem of a hotel and we are looking forward to returning many times again.
