My husband and I stayed for four nights during the holidays (booking the master suite was a bit of a splurge for us but we were celebrating a milestone birthday. ) The suite, for the most part, was very nice, as was the pool and view. There's a full -sized kitchen which came in handy (although for $500US a night, some small toiletry bottles in the shower would have been nice instead of a big bottle of White Rain shampoo and a bar of soap.) That's minor, of course, and I wish it was just that. What we take issue with is that they advertise on their website that the balconies are private, but they're semi-private. (We actually took it upon ourselves to move the lounger back about a foot - the most space allowed - so we could ensure a little more privacy. ) You can definitely see some of the next door neighbors if they're also lounging and you do have a full -on view when you go up or down the shared staircase. (From what I could tell, the rest of the line of master suites was unoccupied, so why put us right next to other guests? It's like when a hostess in an empty restaurant seats you next to the only other occupied table in the place.) The other reason we definitely won't be returning is that, as others have said, it's just too remote. The on-site restaurant only opens at 4:00pm so you're on your own to get breakfast and lunch and for that you need to rent a car or take a cab/Uber. We've been to Barbados about 48 times - I believe we're considered honorary Barbadians! - and there are so many comparable, and more conveniently located , hotels along the south coast.
