Mutiara Bali Resort & Villa Seminyak

We had a lovely stay in one of the two bedroom villas with its own pool. The villa was very spacious, large bedrooms and bathrooms, and a comfortable outside seating area with a kitchenette. We thought the inclusion of a water cooler/heater was a great addition saving on bottled, and we had a cooker, large fridge freezer, and microwave. The hotel itself was very nice and we also enjoyed a proper swim in the communal pool. Staff were very attentive and friendly, and the service was excellent. A good breakfast was included, which we were able to order in our room at a time to suit us. We also ordered food through room service, which was good as well as competently priced in relation to outside eateries. Everything is done through whatsapp communications, which was very convenient. The hotel is conveniently situated with a short walk into town and about 15 minutes to the beach. Our villa was one of the ones situated alongside the road so there was quitea lot of noise from the local traffic. Whilst the hotel exceeded our expectations and was very good value for money, the villa is starting to look tired and old and in need of some refurbishment particularly with regard to the fixtures and fittings such as the kitchen area. We were disappointed in our massages and facials in the spa, the girl who massaged my husband head was too rough and pulled his hair so that it hurt, we were also left with a face mask on for 25 minutes of our 45 minute facial whilst the two girls stood outside laughing and chatting not very professional! We had much better experiences outside the hotel try Nataysa turn right then right out of the hotel by the supermarket. Overall, for the price and the villa hotel experience, we would recommend this hotel. We were told by other guests who come every year, who have stayed at most of the hotels in the area, that this is the best one for the price and we would agree. A lovely stay thanks

Hotel is aged, rooms definitely need an upgrade as draws are broken, towels are frayed/torn. family rooms all along the roadside. The upstairs room is via outside stairs, so ensuring your kids are safe is an issue. The fridge has a bad odour.All pictures do not truly reflect what the place really looks like. Staff however are very friendly and try to make your stay nice even though the place needs a severe upgrade. Manager is always unavailable or hiding from dealing with guests concerns . He was very eager to say, if you want a refund, contact bookings.com knowing very well there is a process which will inconvenience foreign travelers which means you have to endure the “so called 4 star service. “ Should be more like a two star. Breakfast is basic.

We have stayed at this beautiful resort on several occasions over the past few years. It is our go to place when staying in Seminyak. Location is amazing staff always friendly and helpful. Have to agree with many others about the average breakfast quality compared to other similar properties. Would be happy to pay more for better breakfast options & fresh fruit.

Another return visit to Mutiara where I am treated as family. Warmly welcomed from the start when picked up at the airport to checking in at reception. The warmth continues throughout my stay from the courteous staff in all departments of the hotel operations. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and the restaurant food was always hot and tasty. The location is great with a 5 minute walk to Seminyak Square and eat street. I have already booked again for March 2026 and looking forward to seeing all of the wonderful staff again. Richard

Our stay was rgreat, we stayed for a few days to relax before travelling around the island. The room itself was nice and spacious for us the balcony was our favourite with a lovely view of the pool. Bed very comfy, air con was good in the room too! The bathroom had no a/c so it was hot which for me would be hard in the peak season heat BUT it was lovely and spacious. a/c and fridge both were dripping slightly but wasn’t really an issue for us. The pool was stunning, grounds are immaculate and staff very nice. The floating bean bags in the pool were nice to chill out on.Breakfast was also good and room service great too Area outside hotel doesn’t have a footpath so is a bit narrow to walk with a busy street however it is super easy to get a grab driver as it’s in a good spot location wise. Area outside is a bit hectic with cars etc so best to just get taxi Etc. We also had to ask for a late check out as one of us felt unwell, the hotel was extremely accommodating and were able to source a second room with a late check out of 7pm at a low cost. Staff even helped with the bags. Staff are a 10/10!! Overall I’d recommend for a stay to chill out or if you want to be close by to everything in the area!
