This hotel is situated close to one of the most popular beaches of the past, Megali Ammos. Nowadays, this beach is quiet but it still remains as charming as ever. The city of Mykonos is only 5 minutes away. The hotel was constructed in 1988 covering a total area of over 3000 m². Nowadays, it stands as an A-class hotel with many extra facilities including a pool bar and a snack bar. The guest rooms range from 24 m² (for 2 persons), to 100 m² (villa for 4 persons). Each room is equipped with individually regulated air conditioning, private bathroom and shower. All accommodation units also feature a TV and a refrigerator. Guests can take advantage of the beach by the side, the outdoor swimming pool and the poolside snack bar.

Mother Daughter trip with stop in Mykonos

We stayed at the Mykonos Bay Resort for a mother daughter trip. Our room had a balcony with a private pool and hot tub and the view of the Aegean Sea was outstanding. It was a quick walk to Mykonos Town, which is an adorable little town. We did take taxis back to the hotel at night because the roads are narrow and not pedestrian friendly at night (cars go zipping around the bends). The room is modern and pretty, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The included breakfast is delicious. They provided complimentary transfers to and from the Ferry stations. The only issue we had is that the floors are extremely slippery when wet. Spa type slippers are provided, and when wearing them on a wet floor I had a bad fall. This is the case in much of Greece due to the hard surface finishes. If staying here, I would avoid wearing the provided slippers and make sure the floor stays dry (which is challenging in a room with a pool and a hot tub).

Next Level Resort Experience!!!

This resort is fabulous!!! The service is next level, the food is outstanding, rooms are beautiful, and location is hard to beat since it is on the beach AND walking distance to town. The service was really remarkable. Anything we needed was taken care of immediately. Whether we were on the beach, by the pool, in the restaurant, at the villas breakfast area, or in our room, the staff was always there to help us. They were so friendly and efficient! This is the way a resort should operate! We were there for 5 days and were sad to leave the friends we made there. Special thanks to Eva, Niko, Anthomos, and Theo at the main restaurant. They made us feel like family. Special thanks to our friends at the villas Nikos, Theo, Ana, Elva, Marta, and Teta. The service was really outstanding!
