We are Nautilus Hotel, historically known as Paladar cubano. Now, in full restoration, we are a small welcoming hotel, operated by a traditional family in the region of the Yucatan Peninsula, looking to be the option for your pleasure and business trips, where we offer you the comfortability of being in the heart of the city. The hotel is located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, close to everything, just 4 blocks from Playa del Carmen Beach and 6 minutes of the Night Clubs, Our location is one block from the city center, one block from Walmart, and only two from the alternative ADO bus terminal, which puts us in a privileged location for you. Total Rooms 25. Features; All the rooms have hot water, air conditioning, cable television, ceiling fan and safe.

A nice oasis not far from 5th Avenue and the Beach

We really enjoyed this small hotel! The staff were very friendly and helpful, answering questions and arranging taxis and on-site bicycle rentals. The rooms were large and very clean with good, hot showers. The pool was small but greatly appreciated on the hot afternoons! The location is only two blocks away from 5th Avenue and 4 blocks from the beach so an easy walk and a bit quieter, although there are a couple of loud bars nearby so earplugs are advised. The cafe across the street on the corner is an excellent choice for breakfast but the hotel does have complimentary coffee and water.

Good location, basic facilities

Good location for exploring the area but very basic hotel with basic rooms, adequately clean. No restaurant or tea and coffee in rooms, there are plenty of places nearby for food and drink. With a little more effort it would be lovely. Suppose you get what you pay for

Nice hotel

This was a really nice hotel and was part of a G Adventures tour. The room was nice and spacious, very clean and we had the luxury of having a balcony. The swimming pool was small and I didn’t see anyone use it. The hotel isn’t too far from the centre of town. Was ideal for a two night stop over.
