We stayed here for 8 days and is by far on the best part of white sandy beach of Chaweng. Palm trees, amazing views from the pool and plenty of sunbeds both by pool and on beach. We never had a problem getting one no matter when we went. Far enough away from Chaweng to be peaceful. Set in beautiful tropical gardens we had a cottage, huge room with a massive shaded terrace and view through trees to beach ( not all have this but view of just gardens is beautiful and quiet anyway) Outside bath which we didn’t use. It is a little shabby- a bit of mould on ceiling in bathroom, broken cabinet door, tiles a little marked and old dark wood doors that could use a strip and refinish. - but the location, amazing big pool and wonderful staff more than made up for it. You are hardly in room anyway. Beds very comfortable and coffee pod machine and bottled water (complimentary) topped up each day. Breakfast was really good, Thai was changed daily, , English and continental all there. Eggs and pancake station, fresh fruit and juices, We had lunch each day overlooking the beach and it was always delicious. Ate there for dinner 3 times, again delicious Thai food but other offerings too Restaurant area (outdoors) is beautiful at night with lanterns and lights in trees. The restaurant was very quiet each time we went, can’t understand why more guests didn’t eat there as staff, food and location definitely could not be beaten. Prices are great, about £18 for lunch for 2 people and similar for dinner. Do the fisherman’s market that the hotel arranges transport to for about £2 per person to be dropped off. Great fun and amazing choice of hawker style food and drink.Taxi back easy to get and cost £11 but if you can use the Grab app it’s about £7. Also the jeep safari they arrange is half the price of doing it through Trip Advisor, it’s the same company and a good day out. All in all a wonderful stay, fantastic gracious staff and would definitely recommend and stay again if we come back.
