Official Description

Sitting on the private island of Olhuveli in the Maldives, this tropical haven offers a quiet private retreat to all of its guests. A short 40-minute seaplane ride from Male International Airport will take them from the busy airport to a place where they can relax and have an amazing vacation. As soon as they arrive they can head to the private beach area or enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool. Wonderful family holiday

We had a wonderful family holiday at Niyama and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious resort in the Maldives to visit with little ones. The food options are great, service is superb and there are plenty of activities to keep you occupied when not lounging by the beach or pool. A special thank you to Ammi who looked after us and made sure our stay was comfortable. We’d also like to thank Nil, Lam and Rau at the kids club, Hery, Alex, Kaisa, Chef Abhi, Manan, Imran, Dewa and Manchi. We look forward to hopefully visiting again soon!

I recently stayed at Niyama Maldives, and overall, it’s a great choice for guests seeking privacy and nature. The island is filled with lush trees and has a serene atmosphere. One unique aspect is that bicycles are the primary mode of transportation. While it adds to the experience, it may not be ideal for guests with small children or mobility concerns. The breakfast restaurant was lovely and had a good variety, but the dinner experience was quite underwhelming, especially at night. The service from the hosts wasn’t very polished, and at times, it felt like they weren’t fully attentive. However, I would like to sincerely thank Zaid, who was incredibly helpful, understanding, and quick to respond to any request — he really made a difference in our stay. The island itself is natural and full of beach views, though it gets quite hot due to the dense greenery and southern location. One issue with Niyama was the quality of the bikes — they weren’t in the best condition.

Had the best time! Everything was perfect: the room, the food, the staff. Would definitely recommend and also come again in the future! Such a beautiful island & resort! I liked that the island was big enough to go around by bike and explore a bit. You also felt like you had a lot of places all to yourself which I loved.
