We have had a wonderful couple of weeks at Nora Buri resort and spa. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay as relaxed, enjoyable and welcoming as possible. We can’t single anybody out as all of the staff from reception and in the bars and restaurants to the buggy drivers and housekeepers are all exceptional. We stayed in a hillside pool villa which was spacious and well kept with a gorgeous view. Food at the resort was good and the resort was a perfect base to relax and also explore the rest of Koh Samui and visit other nearby islands. We have loved our time here and look forward to returning in the future.

We stayed at Nora Buri for 5 nights. Having been to Koh Samui a number of times, this was our first time to stay here. We chose this based on the many positive reviews and we were very happy! We booked a seaview room on the 'hillside' of the property. I was curious about how the hotel has a 'hillside' and a beachside (separated by the main road) but this did not pose an issue at all. From the booking process and throughout our stay, we experienced great service. All staff from front desk, to the F&B teams to the buggy drivers were friendly, always smiling and very helpful. Any requests or help we needed were easily managed. Our room was very spacious, clean and the balcony offered fantastic views of the sea and sunrise each day. We had fantastic weather, really breezy. The grounds are steep so this location may not be ideal for those with mobility concerns however, buggies are readily available. The breakfast restaurant, gym, spa and infinity pool are all located on the hillside which turned out was all we needed! We liked having the option to do the short walk ourselves. We did go to the beachfront restaurant one night and enjoyed a drink and live music. While there is no direct beach access, there is another pool at the seafront. The resort grounds are well maintained - we barely needed to use much bug spray as anticipated! Plentiful options at the breakfast buffet. Special thanks to Lester and his team for remembering us and our preferences/orders after just one morning. The hillside infinity pool was serene and quiet. Perhaps because lots of villas had their own private pools, even on the busier days during our stay, the resort never felt crowded. The swim up bar was an added bonus and we made use of the various happy hour deals on offer each day. For me the most outstanding element to the resort was the spa. Having been to quite a few resort spas I was very pleased with the Anodas Spa experience and went back twice in our short stay. Excellent value, wonderful treatment in a beautiful space and ambience. While there are no restaurants/shops directly outside the resort, this was not an issue for us at all - the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to Central Samui and Grabs can be ordered conveniently. We liked how the resort is just a few minutes drive from the airport and still very quiet. Great value for a beautiful resort, excellent service and chilled out vibe. We will definitely be back. Beautiful hotel, quite quiet when we went as getting to end of high season. We stayed in a swim up room room (room 620) with a view of the sea. The hotel is split in two by a main road but they have crossing patrol and golf buggies that will take u to your room. The staff are extremely efficient. When u ask for something its done immediately. Free shuttle to challenge beach (10 mins drive) that leaves at 4 pm every day if u want to go for the night life. They also have return that comes back at 4 50 pm to bring u back if u have been there all day. Free shuttle to sister hotel a couple miles away. Uou can use their facilities free. On the road outside there are the little "busses" (vans that have open seats in back. You flag one down and ask the price before commencing journey (usually around £200 bt which is around £5. The rooms are spotlessly clean, our swim up infinity pool was big, also had a jacuzzi. The room staff put bottles of water daily and fruit in your room (on arrival). Towels, slippers , bath robes and flip flops also provided free. The two in site restaurants are very good. We ate in both and also ordered room service a couple of times which was very efficient and beautiful food. There is another restaurant on site that is for breakfast only. This is good, food is amazing. All in all a good location, brilliant hotel and the staff will go above and beyond for you, always. Highly recommend this hotel.
